I wasn't expecting a miracle or even a major change, but I was hoping this might "take the edge off" the tensions between three of my cats; "Bully," "Perpetual Victim." and "Innocent Bystander." It worked well enough to cause a LULL in the aggressive cycle, giving us a chance to experiment with some behavior ideas. It's hard to asses cause-and-effect. Did the spray calm B, so that PV became less frightful? Or was PV calmed and thus wasn't such a fun and reactive target for B? Did they both respond to the spray, and experienced a dual effect? Our IV enjoyed the new calmer atmosphere and is doing better, too. I sprayed areas where they sleep, and sprayed myself or a throw pillow so that they would associate the spray with quiet time when I am petting them. I haven't yet sprayed inside a carrier. It has a lavender scent, I don't mind it. I never found it "too wet," because I spray it conservatively. It never affected any furniture or clothing. I sprayed some in my sneakers to freshen them up, and of course I found...cat snoring away with his nose buried in my shoe. Want to cheer up your cat while calming it? Dampen a bit of catnip with the Calming Spray. Brightens the cat's mood, and watching the play will brighten yours, too!! ... show more

This stuff is MAGIC!! I have an adult cat that does not like to be picked up at all. She will allow you to pet her but that's it. She does not like cars, pet carriers, etc. like most cats I would imagine. She is my son's cat and he moved away. My husband and I are driving his car and rest of his belongings from Florida to Colorado next week, and we need to bring his Gracie! Oh boy... what to do? I did some research and found this product so I bought it along with NaturVet 50 count Quiet Moments Calming Cat chews. I immediately sprayed the inside and outside of the pet carrier that I had just purchased (Pet Magasin Collapsable Hard Cover Pet Carrier - Dog & Cat Travel Kennel with Hard Top and Hard Floor). Gracie, curious cat that she is, came over to investigate. I gave her a couple of regular treats and left the carrier on top of my son's bed and left the room. Lo and behold a couple of hours later what do I see? Gracie fast asleep inside the carrier. She's been living in and out of it for 3 days now. I feel much better that she will not feel stressed inside the carrier on our long trip west. ... show more

My cat, like most, is a jerk. Seriously, she's a mean pain in the butt. However, I love her to pieces and will do a lot to make her happy. We recently added a small rescue cat to our home, and this made my grown cat quite upset. She was charging, hissing, swatting and growling at the little cat all the time. I figured she would get over it eventually, however even three months later, she kept it up. When she escalated to pooping on the little cats bed, I drew the line. I purchased this spray as well as a Feliway diffuser and am so impressed! Originally, I had just the diffuser, which cut the negative behavior by about 75%. Adding the spray has made all the difference. Day one, I probably went a little overboard but I sprayed it on their cat tree, beds, toy box, favorite pillows and the carpet in the room they play the most. It's virtually unscented, sprays easily and is a generous bottle so I wasn't worried about running out. I was just careful not to spray any ON the cats, as that's a big no no. Both cats are calm and relaxed. The fighting has greatly diminished, and they can be in the same room at the same time now without supervision. It's great that I can spray this on virtually anything, and that I can reapply it as needed. ... show more

So....my friend went to Ecuador for 6 weeks as soon as everyone got vaccinated. I didn't want her cat to be in a kennel for 6 weeks, so I offered to pet sit. I had been around the cat. Alot. She is an only child, her mother's pride and joy, and a little moody. At first I was convinced the cat had teleported herself out of my apartment and was running the streets with a gang of street cats. I hadn't left my apartment for her even to sneak out...so teleporting was the only option. But what if there was a small cat sized hole I was unaware of in a closet....two days in...I have lost my best friends cat, read all the terrible things that can happen to stressed out cats, convinced myself the cat was languishing away in a closet or running with street cats; not a good start. Hears harps start.....AND THEN....someone told me about cat pheromones. I did all kinds of research, bought a couple kinds, BUT THIS SPRAY IS A MIRACLE!!!!! The cat is still a spoiled privileged obnoxious brat. She is still her mom's baby and won't let me pet her...but she eats, drinks, saunters through the living room flipping me off with her face. I will forever be grateful for this product. All jokes aside, I truly believe this product saved the cats life. ... show more
