My boy's Shih Tzu is housebroken, but hates to go outside during the rain. In Florida, it rains all summer. So, he has accidents, and tinkles on the tile floor in the patio. Our elderly 100 pound dog has become occasionally incontinent and was using our large rug to urinate inside. Once discovered, there were 8-10 spots. I treated it with an alternate pet carpet cleaning product we had and left on a trip for a week. When we returned, the smell was unbearable and we were confident we would need to get rid of the rug. After a lot of research, I selected this product due to the positive reviews and the money-back guarantee, as odds were we would need to take advantage of that benefit. Much to our surprise, after applying the spray heavily, the odor was completely eliminated! The rug is a deep pile and there was never evidence of any stain on the surface; however, there were stains on the backing, some of which were not completely eliminated. I've tried, um, at least 4 other brands/varieties. This is the one for me because of the smell. I actually really like it! That other orange-y famous brand, reeked, but maybe I got a bad batch. This stuff is good. I have a ton of Nature's Miracle products now (senile dog who has forgotten 15 years of perfect house training), but I think I can phase out all the others and just use this orange smelling one going forward. ... show more

I recently was away from home and my dog vomited grass and bile on my light beige carpet. The mess sat there for several hour until I got home. I tried to remove the stain with carpet shampoo and another brand carpet spot remover, but both left a yellowish stain. I tried this product as a last resort. It was amazing!
