i don't like pouring anything down my cats' ears myself, so i would just like to point that out in the beginning of my review. i use cleaners like this just to maintain the outside of my cats' ears (any part you can see, not inside the canal) this does have apple cider vinegar in it so you will smell that when opening this product. but that is a good ingredient to have. this has done well to clean up any wax or dirt, my cats have never had mites so i cannot comment on that. the bottle does leak, so be careful how you store it away. i would keep it standing upright ... show more

I followed the directions on the bottle and it didn’t really work. It cleaned some of the stuff out but it didn’t prevent it.

    • Natural product works great as a flush or a wipe
We've had a good experience with this and have used it in 2 ways. I have applied it to a cotton ball, then wiped the inside of my both my cat's ears to remove the dark gunk that sometimes accumulates in the outer folds. When one of my cats was repeatedly scratching one of his ears I applied product directly by putting several drops in the ear to flush, per the bottle instructions- over the next few hours the cat stopped messing with his ear. The product has no offending scent, has a very short list of ingredients which are all natural, and has served well in both application methods.
