**Update 6/4/23** I did order a fourth chair as I decided to keep the chairs. My order was cancelled by either seller or Amazon though. I was not even notified that it was cancelled. Not sure what was going on there. I went ahead and placed another order so hopefully it's sent as I need a fourth chair and it says only one in stock. When I place my order over a week ago there were 10. As far as the quality goes I still stand with my first review. The side supports have loosened some and I've had to tighten screws over the past few weeks and they never fully get tight. The cushion however on a positive has gotten a little softer! So yay! Still a decent stool for the price. *Previous* I think the style/trend is there, but the color is slightly off. More of a warm light brown wood vs grayish. Also, the cushion is definitely more of a brown oatmeal color than a cream oatmeal. For the price they will work for now. I’m not expecting longevity out of them though. The one is slightly wobbly and I put it all together properly and am very handy. I’ve tried to make some adjustments, but still has a slight wobble. I’m leaving the wood screw cover plugs off the back for now so I can tighten as they loose up in the coming weeks. The other don’t lie about the firm cushion either. It’s rock hard. Whatever the material is is odd. It doesn’t rebound quickly either if it does get a dent in the cushion. I will keep for now as I don’t feel like the hassle of returning. You definitely get what you pay for with these. I’d only wish I’d pay $100 or less/chair. You’ll have to decide what’s more important quality or budget for you. ... show more

The seats are VERY firm and the foam takes a bit to recover after you get up. They stain super easily and haven’t cleaned up that great even with folex The sling back is awkward because you can’t pull the chair by it and while very taunt it doesn’t sit up that great to support your back. They have a lower back which is wonderful. I love the look but don’t love how they feel. ... show more

I Purchased 4 stools ( two sets of 2) for my newly remodeled kitchen. The first set of stools my husband assembled were perfect, very sturdy and looked great. However the second set had cosmetic marks, small tear and on one of the stools the faux leather looked like it hadn’t been pushed in properly on the seat back. I emailed customer service and within an hour I had a reply from Cameron. Few more emails later (and photos) and I had a new set of stools being shipped to me. Amazing Customer Service! First lets talk about these bar stools. I have 3 kids and just remodeled my kitchen. I picked these stools because they looked comfy, clean and easy to clean. Here are the reasons why I love them. 1. They clean up good - The seat wipes down and the dust, spills and food are easy to wipe off. They also don't have a lot of bars to wipe off. 2. They don't scratch my new floors. They have sliders on the bottom so they don't scratch my floors and they are easy to move to sweep under. They are light weight as well and so it makes it easy to clean around them. 3. They are comfortable. - The padded seat and back support are soft and much better than the metal or wood alternatives. I also like the cross bar on the bottom to rest my feet. 4. The height - They don't block the view! I hated that all the other back supported stools blocked the view of my new kitchen. The tops of these stools are near even with my counter top. When I sit on them my knees don't hit the underside of the counter. They are a perfect fit. Assembly : The assembly was pretty simple. The instructions were entertaining and funny as well. I enjoyed it and my 7 year old helped me put them together. Read the instructions and do it in the order provided or else the stool will be a little off. Sturdiness: These are light weight and can tip when children try to climb up the sides. This has only happened on my fearless 2 year old once as she is used to much heavier stools. However when it did tip on her, it is light enough that she wouldn't get seriously hurt. I appreciated that. Comfort: As previously stated, the stools are padded, they have a small back support that is just enough and the foot rest is in a good spot. Overall these are pretty comfy. After a couple hours though, I would prefer my couch. Service: When I first received the bar stools one of them had a ripped cushion. I e-mailed Nathan James with the contact info on the assembly packet. I sent them some pics of the torn seat and they immediately sent me a replacement set. I honestly was just expecting a new pad but the sent me brand new chairs. I also received follow up e-mails and every e-mail I sent had response times within the same day to make sure I was in the loop. First they reached out to me on the day they were shipped, another on the day that I was supposed to receive the delivery and a couple days later to follow up to see if the new stools were a good replacement and if I had any more concerns. I was so impressed that I bought 2 more stools. In addition, 2 weeks later I received a box of chocolates. I opened it up and it was an apology for the inconvenience! I have never had follow up like this in my entire life! It was absolutely mind blowing. Thank you Nathan James for a great product and a great experience. ... show more
