    • Very, very good grill !
The box in which the grill was packaged arrived in somewhat of an abused state. However the contents were safe and undamaged. While the assembly instructions were pictures only, the grill was very easy to assemble. The metal shelf that is just below the firebox and holds the drip pan that was sent was the wrong one for my grill model. I called Napoleon and they sent another one (took 2 weeks for it to arrive ). When I opened the box I immediately knew it was still the wrong one. Another call to Napoleon was promptly handled and a replacement was on its way. After 3 weeks I received the correct part ( I told them exact part number I needed ). The bad thing was I had to remove the firebox in order to remove old shelf and install replacement. All in all the service department was really good and the people were nice, polite and attentive. As for the grill - I love it !!! It is very well constructed and operates to perfection. So far it appears to cook evenly although we have yet to use the entire grilling space which won’t occur until this summer (2021). I would highly recommend this grill to anyone! We use it at least 3-4 times per week and are very pleased with it. ... show more

This is not a good choice if you are looking to pay a little more to get a longer lasting grill. The manufacture's website and the description on Amazon are very misleading. Napoleon describes the hood as "all stainless steel" but in reality only the outer skin is stainless. The sides are aluminum and the inside (the part that is exposed to the heat and above your food) is just plain carbon steel. The framing of the grill and the cart are very thin cheep, painted steel. The back portion of the hood behind the rotisserie burner and over the top rack is also plain steel. There is a lot of plastic on the ends of the side shelves and the handles are chromed plastic. The cabinet doors are not high quality stainless, they are thin and magnets stick to them. The burners are drilled tubes, not cast stainless like other premium grills. After reading the fine print in the manual I discovered that the "lifetime bumper to bumper" warranty is not bumper to bumper at all. It only applies to a short list of components. The rest are 15 yrs. but it does not cover anything against rust or failure of the finishes, it only applies if the rust is so bad it physically falls apart. I could not find any of the cheap steel parts available on their replacement parts web page so suspect when they go bad I will be out of luck. I do not think this a grill that is for people looking to step up in price from the box/warehouse store models to get better quality or longer life. The quality of the grilles and burners is a bit better than grills that are half the price but the rest is just as low quality so the rest of the grill is not going to last long enough to get any value from the few parts that are better. Customer service is also poor. after over 4 hours on hold with customer service no one answered the call. I placed another call and requested call back from the automatic system which says they will "endeavor" to call back by the end of the day. ... show more

Perhaps I'm somewhat more critical, being a retired Chef. First, I never saw the option for a "white glove" service", which meant the assembly of the grill for an additional fee. Second, the quality of the stainless steel used for the doors is very thin. It takes away from the many positive items about this grill. Much of the interior space for storage is lost due to two support bars. I expected the Napoleon grill to be far superior to my KitchenAid grill that finally needed replaced. The ignitor for the infrared doesn't work and it must be lit manually. I didn't really want to spend $2,000 for a grill. I read the reviews and decided to spend the extra money even though there are many grills such as the KitchenAid grill which sell (by Amazon) for $799. The saying "that you get what you pay for" isn't always true. I will keep the Napoleon. Lower your expectations when buying a Napoleon grill. My KitchenAid competed with many other brands until it finally wore out. I will not recommend the Napoleon grill. Too expensive for what you actually get. ... show more

The printing on the front panel, under and around all the knobs, just wipes right off. I don’t use anything but soap and water. It’s like it was a cheap appliqué and not of the standard or quality one would expect from a Napoleon product. The general performance of the grill is actually quite good but I shouldn’t have the face of the grill just wipe off for the amount of money this price costs ... show more

Grill looks good, had some grilling done, works good so far. the only problem I have its that for the price you pay for this grill there is to many plastic parts!!!
