Warranty Description: ‎Weber GENESIS gas grills are covered by a limited manufacturer warranty against defects in material & workmanship starting from the original date of purchase. The cookbox and lid assembly are warrantied for twelve (12) years against rust through/burn through (paint is warrantied for two (2) years, excluding fading or discoloration). Stainless steel burner tubes, cooking grates, flavorizer bars, and porcelain-enameled cast iron cooking grates are warrantied for ten (10) years against rust through/burn through. All remaining parts are warrantied for five (5) years. Warranty excludes normal wear and is limited to the original purchaser. Labor is not included.

The unit I purchased as my son's 49th birthday gift was a Weber Genesis E-435. Its a large unit that grills for alot of hungry people and it is heavy, very well made, but heavy. Therefore, the free shipping was greatly appreciated. The delivery was made on a pallet, right where I'd requested, and the unit was very well protected. The grill is great, but the service was a lie. When I ordered the grill, I was told that the grill would assembled by an amazon technician. However, when I received the grill, I was told that I had to assemble it myself. My son and I spent 3 hours assembling the Grill. Good materials including metal sheeting, screws and bolts. Quality made to last. Assemble was a long process, the first one took me four hours. The second one took 3 1/2 hours. The instructions were mostly clear, the pictures helped a lot. Two notes: 1 the transformer should be installed wires up and two the bolt for the burner ground wire in already in place on the valve framing. I would use one of the washers, included for a different model, to secure the ground wire. It will prevent the tendency of the connector to turn with the bolt. ... show more

Both of the handle spacers were received broken. Chips of the handle spacers were on the floor of the shipping carton. Both of the spacers were broken. Both are on back order. There is no date for the backorder to be filled. When looking at a $1,649. Weber this is very evident. The back-ordered spacers were sent. There is a small indention and paint missing on the hood where the spacers were damaged at the factory. The hood bumpers that were missing have also been shipped. All is good except the chipped paint and indention on the hood, but I can live with that. Now, I am having problems with the 5 th tube lighting. It takes about 6 tries to light. ... show more
