  • Work Great for my baseboard heaters
Bought two of these to control two baseboard heaters. They work great with apple HomeKit. I am able to now control the temperature of our detached garage from anywhere and also able to set them on a schedule. No longer do I have to set our heaters on "3" manually and leave them. Easy install and super easy to setup! ... show more

  • Great for Second Home
I have a second home in Vermont where it often gets to minus 10. Friends and family use my place and leave the temperature settings all over the place and sometimes off. I now have full control over the electric baseboard system. On/off, set temperatures, program, and provide temperature readouts. No more worrying about freezing, being left on too high and wasting money for excess energy. Now I warm the place up for arrival as well. Please note, you should be comfortable working with electricity or higher an electrician. If you do it your self, make sure you have a electric sensor, take photos in case you have to put old thermostat back and label everything. Only recomendation for Mysa is to include label stickers in packaging. ... show more

  • Fantastic energy saving device.
These were super easy to install and allowed us to monitor our thermostats while away. We have electric heaters and have installed one in each of our bedrooms; that way, we can adjust the heat to each person's liking. The app is easy to use. Now, we always come home to a warm home.

  • Works great, but missing features
I couldn't find this anywhere, but the lite version doesn't track usage. For that alone, I wish I bought the regular version (which I've used before). The other big downside is the power limit. I have a room with 2 heaters, but I can't use this there because it only supports 3800W (15.8 amps).

  • Excellent & responsive tech support, easy to install bc I hired an electrician. Brilliant product.
This has helped solve an odd problem I had, but first: FIVE STARS for sure, and excellent product! - packaging and documentation are very well done, clear, and concise. - the mysa web site is a bit over the top in 'drama' and sales pitch, but once past the "Joe just bought one, yay!" annoying popups, it actually has most of the documentation you'll need, though I think I had to create an account to access some of the tech info? - the product itself is remarkable for it's small size, and ease of (manual) use. - the 'integration' with Homekit/Matter was truly 'seamless' - only took seconds to get the app installed and configured...not common in my experience with these devices. - I had some questions about how much programming I could do with Homekit; their support response was quick (less than a day?, knowlegable, and very helpful, even though it was a tricky question). - I have two 4 foot cadet heaters wired in parallel (with one having the old type t-stat module controlling both), and the wiring was not clear to me, so I hired an electrician to do the installation. Once he arrived, it only took him maybe 30 minutes to read, understand and install the product...in a surface mount j-box I'd installed next to the 'control' heater. See picture. Why this tstat? - Its homekit compatable (I think also has matter support?) - I can control the settings directly from the apple Home app (but also more detail through the Mysa app, too). - The old style manual t-stats are too easy to forget about and inadvertantly be heating rooms you had not intended to. The app features of this product helps assure that doesn't happen. - The faceplate is illuminated (temperature) and has raised buttons to adjust it up and down from the tstat itself - very handy for local control. My Weird use case: I have a 'conservatory' with tall (20') (double insulated) aluminum framed windows at a 45 degree angle over the tiled floor (about 4' below the window sills). In winter, condensation from the window glass pools up on the sill, which then over flows onto the drywall below the glass, ruining it. I'd tried using heating tubes, but they were ugly and had no way to control for temperature, though did confirm that 'adding heat' solves the problem. But there IS a 4' baseboard heater just below the windows, so if I can control WHEN the heaters are turned on, I can 'add heat' to flow up the windows and so dry out the condensation in cold weather. The problem is 'knowing when' to energize the heaters or not. Controllable heat will also allow me to keep plants in the (solarium) throughout the winter without the risk of over heating the space or forgetting and having all the plants die overnight. This device is THE PERFECT SOLUTION. Using (matter) temperature/humidity sensors at the floor and ceiling (20' above) I can 'reset' the Mysa t-stat to 'adapt' its control range dynamically (ie, not just temperatures at the device), even including some degree of weather 'awareness' (I have not implemented that yet). This will assure that the window glass gets a good enough amount of heat to keep the sills dry, but also ensure that the floor and 'plant level' will also stay warm enough - mostly at night. And all without wasting expensive electricity 'accidentally' heating it when the weather turns nice suddenly, or by simply forgetting the heaters are on. (There are probably other 'tricks' I can do using these devices I haven't thought of yet, too! Like remote monitoring and vacation related uses.) This will solve my 'wet sill and drywall' issue, and help maintain a 'plant survivable' temperature range in there, with a minimum of fuss (once I have it all programmed and tested). (I'm already using a matter temp/humidity sensor to control when the home's energy recovery ventilator runs (off a matter AC plug) so this just further enhances the utility of that very pleasant and sunny space - at night.) Congratulations to the folks who developed these products, they are a great example of very well engineered and thought out solution, without being overly and unnecessarily complicated. And, with this product, at a very attractive price point, too! Highly recommended. ... show more

  • Who doesn't like convenience
If you have old baseboard heaters and old thermostat and have a smart home this is the product for you! Packaged well with instructions and everything you need except a screwdriver included in the box and is ready to go with installation. It has a vibrant display which makes it easy to read, It was easy to pair with the app for control anywhere and easy to set up on wifi. Being connected to wifi and the app this thermostat lets you change the temperature from anywhere you have a data signal in turn will save you on heating bills in the winter or just make it easier to control it from wherever you are. The only "Con" if you must say is the only color you can get is white. It's not really a downside because white goes with most things but if you were looking for other color options they currently don't have any. It's overall a great product to bring new technology into an older home without a too crazy expense and can be done individually so you don't have to take the financial burden all at one time for it's well worth it price. 10/10 would recommend this product and will purchase again. ... show more

  • Nice Looking, Upgrade Your Old Thermostat
We ordered this thermostat to upgrade from the old dial style thermostat in our guest house. We have baseboard heaters in there, but the thermostat was inconsistent and just tacky looking. This thermostat is much more clean and modern looking. The temp is clearly displayed. Installation was easy (for me) as I have done these things before. Instructions in the package are ample, but if you have any hesitations, hire a professional. They claim that installation can be done in 15 minutes. I would agree. There are many features on this thermostat, which are very appealing to me specifically as it will be in a short-term rental situation. The thermostat connects to wifi which can then be controlled through an app that you download to your phone. This means you can control the thermostat from anywhere! You can lock the temp so that people cannot change it. You can set it on vacation mode. You can set programs for cooler nights and warmer days or whatever you prefer. This is a nice looking upgrade that will be more energy efficient in the long run as the programs can be set and we will not be heating and empty guesthouse unnecessarily, but also we can adjust the temp before and after guests leave in case they leave it too high or to low. ... show more
