We already own one of these that we purchased a couple years back for our dogs. We ordered another one for downstairs since they're obsessed. We've cycled through many dog beds over the past ten plus years and this one is the clear winner. It's not too hot and has two sides for different temperatures. The cover is a zipper and super simple to throw in the wash. It's thin but very durable. Highly recommend. My pups are about five pounds each, but they prefer the larger bed... Go figure - LOL. ... show more

Bought for a 25 pound dog (LARGE size bed). I wanted a big surface area bed, but I think the thickness/height varies with the size ordered, as well. Perhaps a heavier dog would enjoy this bed more...I think it is too fluffy, sometimes, for my dog's liking. I may remove some of the stuffing. I tried to wash and dry this in a home washer/dryer. Never again. Take it to a large commercial laundry setup if you need to launder. It went through drying cycle after drying cycle....over and over...most of the day...was still soaking wet, when I finally set it outside in the sun for a few days. ... show more

I ended up putting his cozy blanket on top, as it is chilly in the house, making the bed material cold. He loves this bed! When I have two of these pillows and my dogs love them. I never had a problem washing them. But I wouldn't put the cover in the dryer . I want to keep the color and not damage the zipper in the dryer.

This is a nice durable dog bed. It's easy to wash and is a nice size bed. It is soft enough for my dog and even my cats like to nap on the bed. It's a bit expensive, but worth the price. It is durable and fits in my washer.
