    • Cute & Compact! Small/Tight Lounging Areas Depending on Cat Size & Agility

I love how this tree house will fit in a compact space. I got it for my kitten, and she was sitting in the hammock before I got it all together! It also looks nice, and I am happy with the price point for what I was looking for. Couple things I’ve noticed: 1. There is not a ladder from the bottom. For an older cat, I think it could be hard for them to jump from the hammock to the second tier. My kitten is a little hesitant because it’s hard for her to jump or climb up from the hammock level, if it’s not next to other furniture. 2. The flat surfaces are hard. The carpet is nice and soft, but there doesn’t seem to be any padding beneath it. 3. For larger cats or a lot of cats, this tree house could be a bit tight for them to navigate with the layout. The flat surfaces where the cat can lay down are smaller. They have the measurements in the description, but here are some of the highlights from mine: *The top bed, the square flat surface just down from it, and inside the box cubby space are all about 11 inches x 11 inches. *The rectangle shelves below those are about 9 inches x 20 inches. *The ladder & post take up most of the room on its level. *The other plain rectangle shelf has about 11 inches of space between each post. *The bottom of the ladder is only 2-1/2 inches from end of the rectangle shelf. So although it’s nice and compact, it might not be ideal for big cats, a lot of cats, or senior kitties that don’t move as well anymore in my opinion! ... show more

Love it! Super easy to assemble and is sturdy enough for him to sit all the way at the top. It includes a strap so you can anchor this to the wall for extra stability, but haven't needed to do that yet. The media could not be loaded. This treet is amazing. My cat took to it right away and is always watching, playing and doing zoomies up the stairs and on to the tree. Sleeping too of course. this morning she saw her first crow outside the window and hunting hilarity ensued. She plays with the mouses (came with 2 extras), the spring ball and huddles into the little 4th floor room all the time. Great purchase, very easy to assemble and the price is great. I told my cat I bought him a new cat tree and showed him pictures and he slept with me a couple nights. We’re moving and so this should give him more incentive to come home and get comfortable with the new place. It showed up a week and a half early which was good because it seemed like a long wait time for shipping. I put it together by myself and it was easy but I messed up a few times. I did not have tools at the new house but it came with an iron wrench so that was a relief. I also got a little worried putting the ladder on because the place to put the screws on was bent inward. It took a lot of maneuvering to get it right. When I was building it, it seemed kind of shaky after testing the sturdiness. We have a petite cat and this still seemed kind of small for him. I brought him to the new house and he didn’t use it much probably because of anxiety of the new place. I picked him up and put him on the cat tree and he was reaching for it. He started purring once he was on it. He stayed on the level with the overhead roof which is weird because the cat tree we used to have he never used a similar structure on it. I think the openness from 2 sides comforts him. Im sure he’s going to love it once he gets comfortable at the new house. Also it came with 2 extra dangly mice to hang up in case he breaks the ones already on it. (Which he did with the other cat tree we had) Update: I’ve officially moved and with our furniture here he is more calm than he was at previous house. I haven’t seen him use the hammock but he went to the top. He likes the overhead shelter the most. I think it’s a little too small but he did grow at 5 years old. Day 3 at the new house and he’s sleeping in it and playing with the dangling mice Day 5 I think I should have installed the two bottom scratch posts on the outside rather than facing the corner. Idk if that was my fault or the instructions. Also my cat does use the ladder a lot and many people said their cat doesn’t like it. Update: it took about a month, but he used the hammock for the first time Update: one of the poles is very scratched up and coming undone. My mom says this is good he’s destroying the tree and not her furniture. None of the dangling mice has fallen off yet. I taped another dangling mice in front of the hammock. ... show more
