  • Reliable, Fast and Fully Compatible
Size: 64GB (2x32GB) Color: DDR4-3600 (PC4-28800)
I upgraded the RAM on my main PC from 32GB to 64GB. It is interesting that I purchased my 32 GB (3200 MHz) RAM from AMAZON previously and since it was a successful experience, I tried to find my newest inquiry though the website once again. I didn't look for the most expensive models because I knew the difference between 3600MHz and 4000MHz are not that obvious which worth paying a lot more, plus there is a new RAM architecture on the way for premium built PCs and that is the DDR5 so it is almost the last year of DDR4 for my PC usage and 3600 MHz is really the sweet spot. I did my homework and I found these RAM modules as two 32 GB RAM sticks which seems compatible with Intel CPUs. The item was arrived super fast as almost any other Amazon Prime merchants and installation didn't even take 15 min. Everything was functional with XMP on (profile 2 on my MB) and it was fully detected as 3600 MHz RAM without any need for more adjustments and tweaks. I tested the result by many software which I included a screenshot of one of them as it shows on the picture, it a dual Band memory (important for high speed overclockers) and it OPT for almost 4300 Mhz by the software. The overall performance of the system is quite noticeable after the upgrade like I wouldn't even expect this much. In heavy workload conditions, I used to restart my PC once in the couple hours but ever since I upgraded the RAM, there is absolutely no need for that (I do a lot of video editing). I can have everything open and running without monitoring the amount of RAM and I know the system would be stable for as long as it is operating. I would highly recommend this RAM specially if you have Intel processor. ... show more

  • Punches Way Above It's Class. Perfect for Ryzen.
Go price some DDR4-3600 at CL16. Go on. Then go through the reviews and see what it really does. After a while of reading comments and finding out most ram lies, you'll figure out the best deal you are finding on something reliable with XMP or DOCP profiles is probably gskill ripjaw. Or you could just buy this ram, and set it to 3600 c16. It does it. And that matters because it means 1:1 infinity fabric settings with AMD processors. The perfect ram for AMD processors. One heck of a deal, and the benchmarks don't lie. ... show more

  • Worked great on 3900x, however 2 kits cannot run at full speed. Custom local made IC's.
Size: 64GB (2x32GB) Color: DDR4-3600 (PC4-28800)
I picked this up to upgrade my workstation from 32GB to 128GB. However I found that 2 kits will not work with a 3900x at anywhere near to stock speed. These are dual rank DIMMs and as such quad ranks of high density DIMMs cannot run at fast speeds on modern platforms. 2 Kits (128GB) should run fine on Threadripper though. With 1 kit the ram worked properly out of the box at XMP speeds. This has custom IC's; they are made by a company here in the USA (based on the info I found). So therefore it is not Samsung, Hynix, Micron, Nanya, etc. ... show more

  • Pretty Good Memory, a Few Tips Based on My Experience
Size: 64GB (2x32GB) Color: DDR4-3600 (PC4-28800)
Model: 2x32G, 3600MHz, C18 Small issue at first - motherboard applied old settings to new memory sticks, so it wouldn't POST. Here's what happened: According to MB's manual, installed 2 memory at recommended slots - no POST Switched back to single old memory at recommended slot - Success Replaced with one new memory - no POST Replaced with the other new memory - Success, after 2 reboots MB switched to default memory setting. Install 2nd new memory - Success Change MB overclock setting using memory default - Success So if you are considering upgrading your memory, it may be helpful to install 1 memory at first. After confirming that it does work, then install the others. ... show more

  • Mushkin hasn't let me down yet.
My first PC build ever used Mushkin DDR3 and I was very happy with it, so when I decided to upgrade my current PC a bit and noticed this impressive kit for sale and at a very reasonable price, I jumped at the opportunity to give them another shot. Kit runs at rated 4000mhz speed on a Ryzen 5 5600x, with 1:1:1 clock ratio. Have had zero issues whatsoever, very easy setup. Sticks are not too tall to fit under a NH-D15 (overkill, I know, but I already had it laying around). Performance is great as expected. Seller FreeTailTech did not disappoint with their shipping or contact/support. ... show more

  • Worked fine for 2 months then caused system to hang
I was very excited to upgrade the ram in my system. For 2 months, I had no problems, then my computer mysteriously started freezing. At first the freezing occurred 1 time every few days. 3 months later, the freezing occured about 3 times every day. Everything works great for several hours after startup and then everything stops. The image freezes on the screen, the mouse no longer moves and you have to hold the power button to reset it. About a week ago, I switched the ram out with the original ram. No problems since the switch. ... show more

  • XMP recognized after installing sticks in correct slots!
I made big mistake when trying to install this memory on a new Intel based Gigabyte Z590 UD AC (latest bios as of today). I didn't read the board manual and initially installed the memory in slots A1 and B1. After hours of trying different settings and boot failure trying XMP, I remembered in days past when switching slots could affect operation. I therefore moved the memory to slots A2 and B2. On the very first try, the ram booted 3600 @ 1.35V (as advertised) when setting the XMP profile (one button press). I went back to the board manual and sure enough, that is how they recommended installation. Populate A2 and B2 with 2 modules, then use the other slots if adding ram. Apparently this is a common issue on Intel platforms after researching. Would have been an absolute piece of cake had I followed directions. Would be nice of Mushkin to add a reminder in quick setup guide to try different slots if issues. This was a hair pulling affair and believe me, I can't afford to lose anymore ...... ... show more
