Description

The Innovation of the PF-22 Foam Cannon lies in the nozzle. The MTM Hydro Foam Cannon offers not only adjustable fan blades but now offers an adjustable spray pattern (vertically or horizontally) as it throws thick foam onto your vehicle, house, fence, sidewalk, roof or other washable items. The chemical injection knob on top allows for more or less chemical to be drawn through the internal chamber, increasing or decreasing the foam output. This allows the internal agitator to create a dense foam. If it doesn’t say MTM Hydro on the nozzle, it is not the quality you expect. • Best Foam Cannon on the market
This is the best we have tried. Yes they are more money and yes they will fall over by themselves but just lay it down! The results are what it is all about. This unit is adjustable in two ways and easy to do while you are using. Most competitors are a pain to adjust while you are using them or offer only one adjustment. Well made materials that will last not the cheap China made things you see for $16.00. Italian made and imported. Yes it works with lower electric power washers but you will need to get a 1.1 mm orifice to replace the larger 1.25 mm one in this unit. The smaller 1.1 mm orifice will give you better foam with the less powerful electric power washers. Very easy to get these $7.99 or so and a snap to change out. This cannon with the 1.25 orifice will need a good power washer to get that shaving cream type foam. At least 2 GPM at 2000 PSI. We use 2.5 at 2500. Highly recommend with good foaming soap. ... show more

  • Not 5 star worthy but pretty darn close.
I'm so far pretty impressed with this unit. I've used it numerous times since purchasing it and it really does create a lot of suds depending on what soap you're using of course. I will say, I've had a much better user experience connecting the foam lance to the pressure washer handle itself versus using the quick connect. The quick connect piece just never did seal properly and constantly leaked water out of the sides. I have not had this issue since using the bigger thread piece and connecting it directly to the pressure washer handle. It is a bit of a pain having to switch out between water and foam like this but I just didn't care for the other method. It also just didn't feel very stable when using the quick connect feature, extremely heavy at the end and just not my cup of tea. To each their own if you use that method however, not saying you shouldn't. Do whatever works for you. *********EDIT 7 MONTH******** I've had no issues with this unit. I will admit that, per the manufactures recommendations, I do normally let clean water run through the unit after use. I don't do it every single time but I do let that happen at least once every 2 or 3 uses. Just simply detach the bottle from the spray nozzle and let your pressure washer run normally with just water shooting out the nozzle. It's just an extra 30ish seconds out of your routine to insure longevity of a product you paid near $80 dollars for. ... show more

  • Came highly recommended, didn't disappoint!
I'll say this right off, I don't have experience with other foam guns, but upon researching for a while, this brand and model came highly recommended. I have Karcher K5 Premium electric pressure washer, which comes with a soap bottle and spray in the package but it isn't foaming. Karcher does sell a foam gun, but can't say that there was many reviews to find about it... Anyhow, this MTM is magical. I've used it twice so far, go it on August 11th, reviewing it on Aug 17th. As another reviewer and in QA section mentioned I had to buy the 1/4" attachments to fit it to the Karcher. It is easy to mount and sturdy. As others pointed out, it can stay upright without tipping over. Few people complained about it, but there is no leakage of any sort. Either they got faulty somehow, or they're tightening too much to a point of damaging/stripping the threads. To be fair, it is a metal or brass (can't tell now) on plastic connection. So, I could see this happening over too much use.. I've not yet used the two stage nozzle, but I played around with the adjustable spray pattern and fan blades. I loved more foam, so using it at max blade. Does a great job of spraying. Karcher bottle did not have measurement marker. Luckily MTM comes with ml readings. I must say I do like the SI units more, but the Chemical Guys honey dew snow foam soap's instructions are in OZ, so small conversion was needed to fill up. no biggie. Bottle size was adequate for 1 car. I haven't tried it on an SUV or a truck. I'm cleaning the nozzle as instructed with water after each use. Well, okay, words don't to great justice. Just watch any video and you'll definitely be impressed! Came highly recommended, and I also highly recommend it :) ... show more

  • Fitting does NOT fit, problem going back years
Foam Lance might be great, but the 1/4 fitting they ship with unit DOES NOT FIT a standard / universal pressure washer fittings. There are dozens of complaints about this exact issue on Amazon and other sites, going back at least 2 years. How has this not been rectified by MTM?? Buy a $75 lance and then need to run to the local hardware store and spend more money on a proper fitting, not my idea of a great product. I'm at least happy a google search found many many people with same issue, so I know I'm simply not crazy. ... show more

  • Foam monster! Excellent Product
The media could not be loaded. First off, I used Gyeon Foam at a 1:5 dilution with a 3200psi 2.5gpm pressure washer. This Hydro PF22 blew an tremendous amount of foam in a very even pattern on my truck. The adjustable nozzle to change from a thin stream to a wide fan is excellent as well as the knob to adjust how much product is being used. The only problematic area I foresee is the bottle attaching to the head. It seems like it could break if it falls over. A metal on metal fitting would be nice. I still would recommend this foam gun. Make sure you rinse the gun thoroughly after use. Mine came with both the 1.1mm and the 1.5mm fitting. ... show more

  • Yes, it is better than the cheap ones... worth it? maybe.
I have one of the $15 amazon variation foam cannons and thought I would try out one of these "better" ones. The build quality and controls of the MTM Hydro is extremely nice over the cheap ones, but the end result is pretty much the same. I like how this one you can change the angle of your spray while using. The cheap ones you have to move tilt your gun to change the angle. I do notice slightly better foam density on this unit over my cheap one, but not enough to say the price point is worth it just for that. This is a great product, but the cheap ones are as well. If you can afford to pay the extra, go ahead and get this one. But at around $60 - $70 difference in price means a lot, you can not go wrong with the cheap models. This one needs to be priced at $50 to be competitive with those. I use Chemical Brothers foam cannon soap. ... show more
