This is an awesome heater! I received it today and brought straight out to use on the ice. It had my tent super warm and was great to look at. Starting the first time was tricky, but reading instructions printed on top of unit was a good idea 😆 turn knob to left instead of accessory side on right and push dial in while pushing ignition button then holding in for 30 seconds. my old buddy heater which is about 12 is still working great! ... show more

Took it ice fishing and it worked great heating up the portable. We also have one in a deer stand and it works well there too. My opinion, better than the Mr. Heaters they replaced.

    • Failing to ignite
The media could not be loaded. Just received my buddy Heater flex. Took it out on the ice a few days later and it fails to fully ignite. Pilot light works and stays lit but when you attempt to turn it up, the propane dies off immediately. Have attempted to email Mr.Buddy but no response with this situation. ... show more
