These little pouches are my new "go-to" for behind appliances in my kitchen. I also placed several in my upper and lower cabinets. They have a great scent, and I have had zero issues since I started using these packs. They do need to be changed out every month or so in order to be effective, but they ARE effective at deterring pests. I did not place these pouches anywhere my pets could reach them, and they did not seem to have any affect on my pets (I have dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, tortoises and guinea pigs). I have to admit I like the smell and how long these are lasting. That only have I noticed that I don’t have moles and other animals as much in my yard as I used to around the perimeter of the home, but there’s also a huge decline in bugs. I would continue using this product. I use it mainly seasonal around the spring time or summer. I decided to try these natural pest repellents because I have noticed the odd silverfish around the house lately. Ironically, I read that they often come in inside shipping containers such as cardboard boxes, as they like to eat paper and cardboard. I didn't want to use anything toxic because we have pets. We recently had a large rat chew through the bottom garage door seal and leave a big mess. It then started living in our garage, so I developed a two-step approach to this situation. First, I got traps. On the very first day, I caught it. Second, I wanted some kind of repellent to keep any of its friends away and out of our garage. I considered essential oils and a diffuser, but I didn't want to keep up with its maintenance. These "Natural Ingredient Repellent Pouches Safe for Use， Effective Peppermint Oil Deterrent" packets are what I was looking for. They're individually sealed in plastic, so the box has no smell. You simply take one (or more), remove the protective plastic bag, and place it wherever they're needed. I'll spread them around our garage, with one near each door. We’ve had some issues with mice recently and I didn’t want something with harsh chemicals in the house. These sachets are perfect. The peppermint scent is clean and not too sharp. I haven’t seen or heard the mice in the closet since I placed these inside.

    • Does Not Fully Deter Cockroaches
This set of twelve pest repellent pouches contains natural ingredients that are used for repelling pests from around the house. The repellent is mainly made up of shredded corn cob that is then soaked in peppermint oil to slowly diffuse over time. The night after leaving twelve of these pouches strategically around the house, a cockroach was still seen around the kitchen floor. Time will tell whether this really works as my nose is now accustomed to the peppermint oil smell and can no longer smell it. If it does not live up to its claim of deterring common household pests, I will be sure to update this review. These natural ingredient mouse repellent pouches are a safe and effective way to keep those little critters away. Infused with peppermint oil, they provide a powerful deterrent that is both eco-friendly and non-toxic. I have been using these pouches in my garage for a couple weeks now, and I don’t see any mouse droppings around. A couple years ago, II DIY’d this kind of rat deterrent with my essential oils and such but if you have to start buying everything and figure your time, it would be worth it just to get this product.
