The media could not be loaded. Once, I figured out how to install this it was easy. I do love the motorized blind as it looks great and now I can open my blind all the way. It truly is a blackout blind just a little light from the edges. The size I got fit good. As far as durability, it seems durable. My reason for 4 stars is the “ Valance” was cracked in the corner and there is a pin hole in the blind. I was not going to exchange it because I already have it installed and of course didn’t notice the pin hole until I was able to actually use it. The cracked valance I knew before I installed it but I figured no one is going to touch it once it was up and it still did its job and you can’t see it from a far.     • Easy to install, charging could be better
I think I'd give this more of a 4.5 stars. Install was easy enough and using the remote is great. My main issue with this item is that I had no idea if the blinds were charged or not. I wanted to try to charge it before I installed it, as I was using this for a window above my stairs. This required a ladder and I didn't want to install the blinds if they were broken. When I first tried the remote, the blinds didn't move. I assumed it was the battery, so I tried to plug it in to an old cell phone charger. Usually that would be enough juice for the blinds to move but nothing happened. I waited for 30 minutes, still nothing. So I tried a different charger, waited 30 more minutes, still nothing. I then just left it for 3 hours and came back to it and it was working. It'd be nice if there was a blinking light to indicate charging or anything really. After testing that it worked, install as a cinch. The solar panel was easy to place on the window and I haven't had to try to charge it or do anything with it for months. Does a great job keeping the sun out and the remote is simple, but responsive. So overall works great, just wish I didn't have to waste so much time figuring out if it worked or not! ... show more

I can see sun light through the blind. Only a couple months old and rarely rolled up. This is not a black out blind.

The media could not be loaded. I was a little bit iffy about purchasing this product because there are only two reviews, both 5 stars, and posted on the same day. I bought it anyway. My window is 34 5/8 inches. I bought the 34 inch one and it's perfect. Works great with the remote. I'm still waiting for the smart hub to come in so I can connect it to Alexa but I expect that to work great as well. This is a window above our front door that's out of reach so I didn't want to buy a normal shade for it. This is a reasonably priced motorized shade, at least compared to other similar products sold on Amazon. I like that the solar panel is included, as that's the way we're powering the shade. The color is nice, it's grey on the inside and the color on the other side is white. I'm very satisfied and would totally get one for each of the windows in my house if I could afford it. We've only had it a couple days but so far so good. I'll update the review if I experience anything else, positive or negative. ... show more

This motorized blind is easy to assemble and it blacks out the room good too. It is nice that it has a solor charger as well as a remote with batteries . It is a little slow to go up and down but still love them.

    • Works, with some effort
I have a set of windows that runs from the floor to the ceiling covering 2 floors. It has an ugly curtain that I wanted to get rid of, but the afternoon sun is an issue. I ordered 2 of these, one worked and the other didn't so I got a replacement. It didn't either. Turns out I just needed to charge them, but there was nothing in the instructions to tell you what the flashing orange light meant. So I put the new one directly in the sun and it worked perfectly. I setup the remotes for both and I bought a hub so I can use the smart app. You do not need to buy the one they sell, any hub that supports Tuya and radio frequency devices will work. Add the hub to the Tuya app, then do the sync on the blinds to add it to the hub. I setup routines for morning, afternoon and cloudy days. I bought 2 more for my upper windows. ... show more
