This is the perfect set of nail prep. I needed a new brand because the other one I used before didn’t work like I would imagined it too. This one helps keep my manicure stay on for longer periods of time. My nails can last anywhere from 2-4 weeks depending on the activities I am doing. Obviously if you’re harsh on your nails, they won’t last as long. I always prep by shaping and buffing the shine off my nails then I go in with two coats of dehydrator and apply one coat of the primer. I’ve been asked if the based coat is necessary, absolutely. Yes because it gives the gel something to stick too. I’ve done it without out a base coat and my gel would start to lift within a couple of days. But yes this product has worked wonders for my sets. Dehydrater worked great, however I’m not sure if I’m using it wrong but the primer wouldn’t dry. I just did my nails yesterday so we will see how long they last!
