I'm new to doing my nails, so I've been researching what products to use for nail prep. I'm looking for a lot of bang for my buck and this Morovan Nail Dehydrator and Primer with Cuticle Oil Set is great for my needs. Each bottle is one half ounce so these are good for a lot of nail prepping. No instructions included, so it's best to check YouTube, or the internet, or another video app. First time I did my nails with gel polish they bubbled and peeled soon after application. Second time I used gel polish they flaked off within days. It's a learning process and I've learned nail prep is 100% necessary. I had done the usual prep for acrylic polish and I've learned that gel polish needs an entirely different prep. Morovan is a good name in the nail line so I figured I'd try it. Very easy to apply. Each bottle has a brush like polish bottles. Use the dehydrator first on very clean, scuffed, filed nails. Follow with bonder and/ or primer if you need stickiness to help polish or acrylic nails stick better. BOTH dehydrator and primer clean your nails by removing oil. Cuticle Oil is the final step once your nail application is complete. Simple to use, eay to remove with nail polish remover. Great set for minimal cost. Works very well. ... show more

I feel like it works well. I used it one time putting on press-ons on my hands and feet. Did dehydrator definitely worked as well as the primer help to apply the nails and keep it a little tacky. So I'm a fan so far.

Products does it's job. Smell is horrible so make sure to vent. Price is perfect. Color is clear which is great even for first timers. Follow the directions the first time. Not easy to remove.

I do my nails at home myself and have been for a few years now. Ive recently been dealing with my builder gel lifting at the tip of the nail in the matter of days. I wasn’t sure what the problem might have been since I prep my nails really well with shaping, roughing up the surface, dehydrator and primer. After talking to some of my professional nail techs, they recommended updating my prep materials. The ones I had were a few years old but I don’t do my nails too often, didn’t use the products as much, so I figured they were still ok use. Once I got the new hydrator and primer, I noticed a difference right away. I apply several coats of the dehydrator, making sure to get into all the edges, and apply small amount of the primer to just the tip of my nails. I also use a nail builder gel as my primary base. I’ve had my most current set for roughly 3.5 weeks and I’m experiencing very minor lifting. Primarily at the cuticle area and one nail on the side. Very impressed and pleased with my results! I’d highly recommend this brand and to upgrade your products once a year (even if you don’t use them often). ... show more

The primer and dehydrator set is decent but has some drawbacks. The dehydrator works well to prep the nails, and I noticed it helps reduce lifting for a few days. The primer also does its job in bonding, but it’s not as long-lasting as I hoped. After about a week, I saw some lifting around the edges. The set is affordable, which is a plus, but you may need to touch up more often than with higher-end products.
