Liked that I could use after coloring with L'Oreal hicolor red and the bourdeox mask brings out the color more. I was nervous at first, but I used it like instructed (hair mask) and my hair feels so soft and shiny. Helped my dried out ends. I also like that it was not messy. I wanted to share my experience for anyone who was as undecided as I was when I was searching for color glosses and color conditioners. I did a lot of looking at products and reviews and ended up choosing to to try: DPHUE and this Moroccanoil color conditioner. DPHUE was the winner hands down. Even though it says it does not cover gray, I was delighted to find that it DID actually sort of partly stain my very stubborn wiry gray so that it looks a little bit more like highlights.It darkened my very faded light brown hair (that had a little too much red) in a nice rich way. Just a deepening and enriching. But the best part is how shiny and glossy it made my hair. Almost nothing that promises shine and gloss actually works on my hair. I have very fine, very dry, NOT shiny hair—alas. It always looks a bit fuzzy and the only thing that really usually gives it shine is LOTS of oil. I was amazed to find that this product actually did give my hair a little bit of sheen and a really nice soft shiny glossy feeling. I actually kept running my fingers through my hair. And it lasted a really long time (I don’t shampoo every day because my hair is so dry, and after a week it still had that slightly thicker, glossy feeling! I am a believer in this product. And I am so picky about hair products. This Moroccan oil conditioner was a darker brown than the light brown DPHUE and it did stain my hands, where the DPHUE did not. The Moroccanoil did darken my hair but it did not even touch the gray. (I know it says it wont, but so does DPHUE and it did stain the grey) Moreover, I was disappointed that it did not give my hair that shiny glossy smooth feeling at all. I bought this because I have naturally dirty blonde hair, and during the summertime The sun mixed with chlorine will basically bleach parts of my hair. I didn’t really care for the blonde parts so I wanted a mask to try to cover it up. It did exactly that. The color was actually really nice and I did enjoy the results however, we have a white tile which is porcelain and a quartz sill plate, which runs the entire outline of the shower. When I went to remove the product, I did it almost into the drain because I didn’t want to have a huge mess. However, obviously some of it did splatter and the brown got onto the tile as well as the quartz. The tile and grout cleaned up very easily but this dye stayed in the quartz. I am on day four of trying to get it out and it does look like I will be successful. However, the amount of effort I had to put into cleaning isn’t worth the pay off. would not re-purchase however, if there is a clear version of this gloss, I would just because it did make my hair feel very very nice. ... show more

Loved this hair mask as a regular hair mask, left my hair super soft and hydrated. The color payoff wasn’t really there though. I have darker brown hair and it really only tinted a couple lighter strands of hair red. If you have brown hair get the big bottle and use it for longer periods of time, that’s the only way you’ll get tinted red hair ... show more

I used a combination of bordeaux and rose gold together. I wanted my medium brown base to be redness and my highlights to be the rose gold color. I am very pleased with the results. It is a little more time consuming on the day you wash your hair (ladies, we all dread that day); as you have to wash your hair, towel dry then apply the product evenly and wait 7 minutes (I left it on for ten) and then get back in the shower and rinse it out. This was a great size to try out a color before getting the bigger size. I mixed the red and brown together for my own blend. The red overpowered everything. Fade out was 3-4 washes. My old highlights did get a bit pink but faded out completely. Doesn’t stain the bath if you wrinse quickly. Smell isn’t amazing—but no coloring product is. ... show more
