I wish I had taken a before and after photo - I recently went to the salon and chose to get a different toner put in my blonde hair which did not take to it well. It was too ashy for me and I wanted a quick fix without setting up another appointment and spending more money. This stuff worked for me - one little packet , to my surprise, did the job. My hair is highlighted and 80% is a level 9.5/10 blonde. I used one packet on medium length semi-thick semi-coarse hair and it stripped out all of that ugly toner and set me back to having my bright pale blonde hair. No more granny grey looking, borderline blue hair! I have a lot of gold undertones in my virgin hair so the level toner we used just didn't do well with the amount of underlying gold in the natural tresses that still remain amongst my color treated hair. My hairdresser is great, it just happened to be one of those freak things that just didn't work/react well. I did not think one little packet was going to treat my entire head, especially when I realized this stuff is powder in the packet - follow the instructions and you should render results. I dumped the powder into my palm after shampooing and used just enough water to make it into a shampoo-like consistency and began to distribute it in my hair, concentrating on the worse areas first, and WOW this stuff lathers up like crazy. Almost like a science experiment level fizzy lather. So, it's fair to say the product will definitely distribute itself thoroughly through short to mid length hair. I let it sit while I carried on with my shower routine (it says no longer than 5 minutes, I let it set for about 2-3 minutes) and BAM I was back to my bright, normal toned/pre-toned blonde. It does say to shampoo again once rinsing the treatment out, and then conditioning. It did strip my hair making it feel very coarse during my shower, so I would recommend depending on your hair type doing an extra conditioning or deep conditioner or mask. I decided to skip that and did just my normal spray-in leave-in treatments pre-styling and my hair came out normal, although I did use a little extra leave-in conditioner to get the tangles out. And it DOES definitely tangle your hair so keep that in mind and maybe a wet brush and good conditioner on hand, especially if your hair is dense and coarse already. One more thing to keep in mind for those who depend on toners more so than I do - depending on the effectiveness of the treatment you may have to re-tone your hair, and maybe that goes without saying, but if you're just looking to "brighten" your blonde, be aware that this may strip out any toners you have. I was a little nervous purchasing this after reading some of the reviews. However, took my chance, used it as the package directed. As well as the moisturizing mask afterwards definitely took all the yucky buildup out of my hair a little bit of toner and it actually looks a lot more healthy. These are great to boost bleached and blonde highlighted hair (level 8+). Complete godsend. It will pull through streaks sometimes nearly as light as platinum. I have fine hair, but a lot of it, that is bra band length. I use 1/2 the packet and get 2 uses. Follow the directions EXACTLY! They are written really tiny: 1. Shampoo hair as normal. Rinse. 2. Pour the crystals into your palm, add a few drops of water, and rub into a paste. 3. Scrunch the paste throughout your wet hair. (DO NOT pour directly into your hair or apply any to the scalp). 4. Leave in up to 5 minutes (maximum). 5. Rinse very thoroughly. 6. Shampoo your hair again, rinse thoroughly. Make sure the crystals are 100% out of your hair. 7. Follow with a moisturizing conditioner, as this can be drying and make your hair feel a little brittle for a day or two. Use again after two weeks (or longer if needed). For best effectiveness, a week later use purple shampoo and conditioner to combat brassy tones. Your hair may have a slight toner scent for the next 24 hours, but it isn't bothersome. ... show more

This worked like a charm. I was overtones and walked out of the salon with blue hair. I mixed the product as described timed it for 3 minutes and washed out. The blue came out without stripping my highlights. Must follow the time!!

Please don’t buy this product. I, like the other reviewers ended up here due to a recommendation from a YouTuber. I didn’t even bother to read all the reviews. I got it yesterday and today I applied it after my run. I followed the directions and I noticed while I was applying it, immediately my hair started falling. Yet, I still didn’t panic. Once i applied the shampoo after the treatment, I realized how stopped my hair was because of the incredible amount of suds. I continued to condition. I grabbed one of the hairs that fell and I stretch it out of curiosity, that hair stretch to the next county! I then realized how damaged my hair was just from using this product. My hair was bleached to probably a level 10 I think he lightest areas and 8/9 on others. But my hair was not this damaged, yes it was dried but at no point t did it stretch or felt like noodles. I bought this thinking that it would improve my hair, not finish killing it. It may work for people with extremely healthy hair, but not for people that are trying to recover their hair or is even slightly damaged. Make no mistake, this is some sort of straight up bleach. Which is why your hair will lighten but it won’t take the yellow away. It will just strip it from everything good in your hair and further damage. My fingers got so wrinkled but the time I got done applying it it to my hair, which is exactly what bleach does when one doesn’t wear gloves. That is how strong this non sense is. Do a favor to your hair and DONT BUY IT. In fact, after I showered I kind of feel like my scalp burns a little bit and I want to rinse my hair again but I’m terrified of damaging it dither because this thing did a number o it. ... show more
