[Update] I'm upping my rating from four to five stars! See, I have this recipe for a Korean version of Chili-Garlic Noodles that I like to make sometimes. It's crazy hot and making it leaves the house with a powerfully pungent vinegar & garlic smell that my lovely wife just cannot stand. So, this morning I decided I needed a fix and made a batch while she was away from the house, then once I was done I turned this device on high. Three hours later my better half came home and said, "It smells like you cooked something, what did you make?" Bam, 5 stars - now I can make my favorite noodles and not suffocate my sweetie! [Original Review] This air “purifier” is a powered electrostatic filter, with a timer and light. It’s very quiet on the low setting; the higher speed makes a noticeable hum. It works well, and the filter is easy to remove for cleaning. I ran it in my living room for 6 hours on low, and it was essentially silent (by which I mean I could hear it if I deliberately listened for it but otherwise never noticed it). We aren’t smokers but we do have two kitties and I must say the room did seem fresher at the conclusion of the 6-hour run. So it’s quiet, it’s effective, and it’s more or less unobtrusive depending on where you put it. Nice product. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. The air purifier came in a neat, concise, box with no damages on the outside; which I appreciated. The machine itself is pretty, and thankfully not an eyesore, and when it operates it has a very low/faint sound (which is perfect for sleeping and will be for movie occasions). The purifier has 3 fan speeds and has 3 hour intervals you can choose from... Or you can turn it on and run it indefinitely. This unit comes with a filter, of course, but unlike other brands, they do recommend a way to clean your filter to prolongue its lifespan rather than force you to pay a pretty penny the moment the filter collects enough. Eventually you will need to replace the filter. But this company at least has the customer in mind when it came to their filters. As some on the market don't recommend even vacuuming them, as this one does, and state to buy a new filter immediately. So if you're someone who wants an air purifier that perhaps doesn't create a ton of eco waste for an affordable price, this one is solid. My mom has noted how her air is much better and she has been running it constantly. We get smoke season every year and now we feel somewhat prepared. From my experience, I definitely recommend this product. The only thing I wish was that I wish the LED lights served a purpose, where you can select things in the dark. You definitely need a light on to turn it on, etc etc, if you're not used to it. But other than that, we love it! ... show more

I've never had an air purifier so I thought I would try this one. I set it up in the living room to help eliminate some of the pet odors from the dogs. Actually, one of the boys peed on the chair in the picture. There was some improvement. Note: I had used a deodorizer product on the chair. This air purifier is barely perceptible on the low setting. I found the buttons a little hard to push. There were no extra fragrance sponges, just the one already in the purifier, but I don't plan to add a fragrance.     • This is making a huge difference for my family.

I started using this right away. It's only been 2 days and already it's made a huge difference in my home. I live in a heavily pollinated area. My family and I are in a constant state of allergy overload. Within about 2 hours the runny noses and scratchy eyes stopped. So far, I've been using it in the living room and I'm very happy with how it's working. The first level is practically silent. The highest level can be annoying if you are watching tv, but I don't think it's terrible. It's very light weight, easy to set up. The timer works well. And though I haven't had to clean the filter I keep checking it (just to see). So, I can say with confidence that cleaning the filter will be easy to do.
