First off, I did a lot of research before buying this bike. I wanted something that would go around 30 miles an hour. That had good battery life, I wanted hydraulic, disc brakes and stylish good looks, front and rear suspension, 4"wide fat tires and this bike has all of that. I could not find any bike that came with all those features for under a thousand dollars. I love this bike. It's fun to ride. It looks great. It has good speed and performance. The suspension soaks up all, but the biggest of bumps, this bike had all the features I wanted and was several hundred dollars cheaper than its closest competitor. Battery life is good, especially if you help out with pedal assist. I really like the retro styling of the front headlight, which has low and high beam and is very effective. Most importantly, the hydraulic disk brakes have excellent stopping power, enough to lock up the front wheel, if you squeeze too hard. They even include a replacement set of brake pads and all the tools needed to assemble the bike, even an air pump. It feels like it's built like a tank, a little heavy at around 100 lbs, but it makes it feel very well planted and solid on the road, almost like an electric motorcycle. If you are debating on getting an electric bike, I can't think of better bike for the money than the Tamobyke V20 or V30, great bikes! ... show more

The bike itself is great. It's sturdy, well-built, and is a smooth ride. It's the only step-through ebike I could find that had all the features I wanted, including a step-through design with both a footrest and pedals, fat tires with solid rims, hydraulic brakes, high top speed and high wattage motor, and a comfortable seat, while looking like a cool motorbike or moped rather than a boring old ebike. That being said, there are a few things that need to be improved. The assembly directions aren't detailed enough, are are missing important details. First, they are all tiny black and white pictures that are hard to see, and only have basic written instructions. More importantly, when installing the front wheel, it says to "pay attention to the order of the accessories", but it doesn't actually show or explain how or which order the parts need to be installed in. Because of this, I had to spend an extra 75 dollars to take the bike to my local ebike shop to have them help finish assembling the bike and check everything is installed correctly. The other issue is that when looking over the bike, he had found a few things that weren't assembled properly from the factory that had to be fixed. After all that the bike runs well though. I would still recommend this bike, as long as you make sure to take it to your local ebike shop to have it assembled and checked over by a professional to ensure everything is installed correctly for your saftey. ... show more

It's a nice bike and pretty comfortable I love that it has dual suspension and it's pretty good off-road but there are 2 wrong things with it. 1. The battery has a decent range of 25-28 miles 2. It doesn't actually go 33mph the speed gauge is wrong and it actually goes 28 mph Overall it's a good commuter bike but I just don't like how they lie about the metrics, I haven't figured out yet but I'm not sure if the motor is truly a 2000w motor or not. ... show more

First of all, assembly is a snap. Now that I have been using this bike for almost two months I can easily say that its performance is great! I have taken 30 mile (round trip) runs and had a little battery life left. Rides and handles nicely. Top speed I have reached is 28mph (I am 170lbs). I plan on getting the additional seat, not for passengers, but for use as a cargo rack. I would definitely recommend one if you are in the market for a good, reliable, and affordable transportation option. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I've recently been wanting to add a few e-bikes to get my family out of the house and enjoy some great quality time together riding through neighborhood. I decided to give this TamoByke a try for the price and the good reviews I saw, I'm happy I did! I've had ZERO issues out the box, assembly is pretty straight forward! The brakes work really quick, the motor gets up to 28mph and gets you at top speed fairly quick! The headlight is the best I've had on any bike and the range is great, you'll get about 15 miles on pure electric BUT if you peddle at all, you will easily go over 20 miles. Nothing feels cheap, everything feels solid and sturdy. Great bike at a great price! My family loves it! ... show more

This bike is good quality. Everything works as it should. I would buy again. The only thing I didn’t like is the slight difficulty assembly of the bike. So far I have rode the bike 70 miles. Overall it’s a great bike.

This bike was desperately needed for basic commutes and it serves that purpose and more. The assembly went flawless (not by me but someone with the skills). The price point was reasonable and the delivery was smooth.
