Just used my new tent yesterday for the 1st time. Set up took a good 10 minutes. We could not get the top middle plastic piece to move. (Has to push down to lock in) after fighting with it for sometime, we discovered we had to really pull all 4 poles..way out to allow the plastic piece to move down. We used a rubber mallet at one point. I’m hoping this was a first time use “isolated incident” and the plastic was tight and kinda stuck. Tear down was a breeze, it truly took 2 minutes and…. It fit back in the bag with no problem. Overall, I liked the tent and would recommend. It has two doors and the ventilation is good Plus quite a bit of room for my dogs and I. I used a blow up twin size mattress pad for the inside and fit great. Pad couldn’t been bigger. All in all… A+ I recommend the tent. ... show more

This tent is SO easy to put up and take down. Honestly I'm not entirely sure why people are confused. There aren't instructions, but literally it's just this: To put up the tent, spread the legs all the way out in their respective corners. Lift the middle peice and before you get all the way up, pull the star in the middle peice down so it clicks/locks. Make sure the legs on the 4 corners halfway down have also clicked into place. To take down, push down and pull up on the middle peice so that it clicks/unlocks. Then you bring it back to starting position. The easiest set up I've ever had and can absolutely be done with one person. That said, the material for the tent is really thin. It did fine in light rain (though I do recommend getting a tarp or cover for the top) but I wouldn't trust it in super windy or really strong rain. Bought this last year but finally used it this weekend. It didn’t rain so not sure how rain proof it is. It is easy to set up and take down which I love. It was durable. My only issue was I wish it was better ventilated. I wish there were larger screens to get more air on. It was very hot.

Ordered this tent for a four-day camping trip in Hawaii. The campground was windy and rain came and went throughout the four-day. This baby held up really well against Hawaiian wind and had so many “windows” to let air circulate. It did take a while to set it up but that’s because it was my first attempt to put up a semi-permanent tent (compare against beach day tent which are truly pop-up). I could not believe how easy this was to set up and tear down by myself. After tearing it down, it easily fit back in the bag that it came with. A queen air mattress just fits inside with no room for anything else.

I’m a single parent planning to go camping for the first time with my kids. I bought this as an easy tent to set up since it’s just me with two small children. As someone new to the camping scene, instructions would have been really helpful. There were instructions to take it down, but not put it up.
