  • This is a versatile beautiful sounding lush reverb.
Color: R7 Reverb
The MOOER R7 is a great value for the money. A micro pedal containing 7 different reverb models with versatility and tweakability ranging from a simple room ambiance of a mic a few inches from an amp to Lush atmospheric modulated singing cavernous reverb. It passes signal very well and is able to accept a decent amount of boost or overdrive going through it without squashing and peaking out. The original input signal appears to be pure and unmolested adding reverb to the dry signal when the level knob is increased. All 7 of the reverb models are adjustable by 5 perimeters and savable as patches. Even when unplugged the unit goes directly to the last used model when powered up again. I found the LC and HC EQ knobs are very useful when creating large lush atmospheres as they allow the tails to be very large and full without the bass stacking up and overwhelming the original signal. The spring reverb model is also MUCH better than many pedals in this price point, if the pre-delay knob is set to 1/2 or more it will give a boing/drip. Overall this is a nice low noise, highly useful and versatile reverb pedal with saveable presets and high quality impulse models. ... show more

  • So great
Color: E7 Synth
Great little synth pedal. I use it on guitar and pedal steel. Synth sounds are really convincing. Optional arpegiator is really cool, but not something I use much since there is no tap tempo for it. The basic synth sounds can be modified somewhat, but really are good straight out of the box. The organ, worth noting, sounds more like a church/pipe organ than a B3. Sounds great, just not as usable in a rock setting as a different organ sound might be. Metal casing, micro pedal, sturdy and tiny. Overall this is a very well spent 80 bucks! Highly recommend! ... show more

  • Small and full of Options
Color: R7 Reverb
I was looking for a small form factor pedal to use with my effects loop. I have a quilter overdrive 200 that does not have reverb. What i like is there are several different reverb types and that each can be programmed and saved to recall later. The pedal is small, like a wave of pedals that have come out lately, this does not mean that they are not good, in fact, they are great. The latest tech virtually assures that we can shrink anything to a size that is not only easier to lug around, but still very good. This is due to electronics shrinking anyway and circuit boards that have multilayer PCB. The sounds are pretty good right out of the box, I tweaked a few to my tastes. The reverbs you can get are from very useable to over the top, if you wanted to program that far out of the norm. You get seven distinct reverbs, and the light on the side indicates your choice. You cant exactly change reverbs with your feet but you can simply bend down and change it. If you wanted to mount on your stand you could change easily. I just one reverb ( I like the spring best, then the plate ). All in all the product does what it advertises and is a good solidly built pedal. I have nothing bad to say, I do wish you could choose different reverbs on the fly with your feet, but its easy to work with. CJWII ... show more

  • Some good sounds, some terrible
Color: E7 Synth
I would like to be able to use the guitar in a similar manner to my keyboard so that guitar sounds combine with the expressive power of a synth, sort of Jimi Hendrix meets Kraftwerk. To some extend this pedal allows that but only if the mix tends more toward the guitar and less toward the synth. Some of the tones dialed in are just awful and ugly. I really get better results with my Korg Monotron Delay than this, though this is designed for guitar with 1/4" jacks. The Korg costs less also. The price for this pedal is not bad though I came very near to returning it and now rarely use it. I got a used Korg Volca FM for about the same price and it is much more useful. Even better a used IK UNO a litttle more expensive but the guitar input works very well with the UNO. Still trying to find what I'm looking for though this pedal does have it's moments when it sounds really cool. ... show more

  • Really great for guitar AND synthesizer ambient genre
Color: A7 Ambiance
I’m a songwriter/composer under performance rights organization, BMI, Inc. I’m also a self administered publisher under The Mechanical Licensing Collective (The MLC). I write and record commercially licensed music, under four music libraries. And at times, I write songs for retail sale. List of positives: I did not want to spend a lot of money for this sort of ambient long decay reverb, there is one or two other companies out that that change HUGE amounts of money for this simple effect. So price at $85.00 is well worth it. I use this more for synthesizer, and it amazing on how much this improves different sound patches that I use. From piano, to strings and even the TB-303 bass synth' clone that I have.. when I max out the settings, sometimes I can get overtones to the point that the sound is totally different if that makes sense. List of Negatives: The first is a product is only as good as the company behind it, and going on 4 weeks now, the company never emailed back after sending them a message via their web site email "form". As some one who writes music and is under a few music organizations, It's surprising NOT to see any replies from a company via email.. usually there is AT LEAST a help support desk. So, customer service from the company after the sale, may be non-existent from my current experience. While it's possible to buy a 9volt battery "clip" to dc plug to power the pedal, there is no internal compartment for a battery. So you'll need to buy a power adapter that is 9v, tip is to: negative polarity like many standard power adapter for guitar pedals (the majority). Another observation, is that the is always voltage going into the pedal, even if the pedal foot "switch" is off / bypass. While the pedal has a metal housing (which is great) it DOES get warm regardless. In my studio, I have this hooked up to a separate surge protector, so if I need to take a break, I can just power it off manually. I've seen other mini pedals that are like this as well and having them on a separate surge protector helps with powering them on and off. If you are into ambient music, this is a must have buy... Really, it's that good. - MrTom ... show more
