I wanted to like this, and really needed it. But, it just doesn't work properly. It can't control my unit in Fahrenheit, and it doesn't reliably turn the unit on and off... which is the bare minimum requirement, which it doesn't do! Tried setting it up on a 2 year old GE A/C, found the proper remote setting and even though it worked in the setup mode it came back with unsupported. Not to give up yet tried it on a 3 year old Whynter. Worked great in the setup mode, came back as unsupported when trying to save. Wasted 2 evenings screwing with this. ... show more
