Image is good for what it is. Could see way up my dogs nose pretty easy. I looked in my ears and they look pretty awesome inside too. I would not recommend this for serious brain surgery though, just the minor stuff. I do recommend it for the value and it functions pretty well. I went ahead and did some brain surgery with this, it was fine. For 25 bucks, you can not complain. The guy can still walk too. ... show more

    • Extremely helpful little tool
At first I was quite worried upon starting the camera because the frame rate was unusably low, but after exiting and restarting the app it fixed itself. The only other problem after that was that the spoon tool stuck out way too far, but the metal was easy to bend and place further down the otoscope. Once those two issues were solved everything was perfect, and I'm extremely relieved to have been able to remove the impaction in my ears caused by sleeping with ear buds in for years (oops). The picture quality is surprisingly good, the instructions are very detailed, and the app is very simple and easy to use. ... show more

Very useful unit. Nice little plastic storage container. The software was simple and offered a zoom in feature. Loved it. Software was great. Clean crisp picture. Then it died. The lights are on but picture went black. Nothing. Was hoping the unit would have lasted a couple years but 3 months is pretty short. What happened? I have otherwise had good luck with Anykit. It took me awhile to actually use this camera. I thought it would be harder to set up than it actually was, but it was just my computer. When I tried it on my daughter’s laptop, it was so simple! And I think great quality for the price!! My family loves watching YouTube videos of earwax removals and Dr pimple popper, so the purchase was really just for fun. But I wish I would have known about it when my kids were younger and in their ear infection stage, it would’ve been so useful. You can see the eardrum so clearly. I almost hope one of us gets an ear infection soon just so I can compare🤭 ... show more

    • Pretty Cool device for health-related questions
I was most concerned with the image quality since this is "supposed" to be an otoscope. For the price vs. quality it pretty good. You can adjust the brightness with the dial control on the wire and also multiple attachments to scrape out your nasty ear boogers. Thank goodness my ears were bright and shiny! Make sure to ADJUST brightness to improve picture quality. The device does get warm depending on brightness. Like a warm compress in your ear. Not painful. Due to your ear canal being very sensitive trying to maneuver the plastic attachments can be painful. The attachments are fitted onto the camera end but the corners and edges of the attachment clip scratch the inside of the ear. One false turn and you'll flinch. There are different lengths but trying to get the ear booger WITH the camera is a NO-GO. you can't see inside your ear because it's too far away to get a good picture. You will need help from someone to hold the camera and use a separate booger scratcher while watching the screen. The device uses a Micro-USB connection and a standard USB so using your phone may be difficult. I used a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 and it worked just fine. If you plug into the PC it will work with the default windows camera app. OVERALL it works great. Stick it up your nose, run along your dead skin, investigate your mysterious mole, focus on areas where the sun don't shine, etc. Basically works better than your cell phone camera at close-up shots. PLEASE DON'T SELF-DIAGNOSE. this is merely a device to help see what's going on. GO TO A DOCTOR...with close-up nasty pictures. ... show more

This thing is amazing! I really love to use on my grandson who seems to always have earwax built up in his ears really bad. I love how I can see the ear wax clearly when I go in with this otoscope. It’s simple to hook up install on my phone. The kids get a kick out of watching it on the phone and finds it very exciting to watch. This was a very good investment. ... show more
