    • Worth every penny
A tornado hit my yard and destroyed many trees. I did some research and chose the Zeeksaw which has always had a good reputation. this saw is an upgraded version with an oiling feature, which is really much more convenient than other saws where you don't have to use the little bottle for oil as often. This mini chainsaw ate through 3-4 inch long limbs like butter. I was pleasantly surprised! After about 50 minutes of just cutting all the time, I tackled most of the trees and limbs that were destroyed in my yard. The battery life likewise exceeded my expectations. I have a verbal agreement with my neighbors not to use the STIHL gas chainsaw early in the morning on weekends because of the noise. But this little saw solves that problem perfectly and has a nice POWER that is much lighter and friendly to use. I have some logging experience and do not recommend cutting when the diameter of the branch is larger than the size of the bar, this will cause the saw to get stuck in the middle of the branch, which will cause the saw to die. When cutting larger branches, cutting the front and back one step at a time can prevent this. I highly recommend this little chainsaw! It greatly exceeded my expectations! ... show more

So, I thought my product didn't come with a charging jack, and in my haste to get in touch with the seller I left a one-star review on the seller saying that the product arrived missing a component. Turns out that THE CORD PLUGS DIRECTLY INTO THE BATTERY, just in case anyone else misses it too. Whoops. So I don't know for sure yet whether this product does deserve a five-star since it's still charging, but fair is fair and until I figure out how to undo that one-star review I'm leaving a five-star on the product. What I can say about the product is, it arrived less than 24 hours after I ordered it. All of the parts connect smoothly, the chain feels nice and snug and sharp, the saw is light but feels solid, and it weighs nicely in the hand. I did pop the battery in and tap the trigger for a half second and it fired up nicely. In my defense the instructions do indicate that there's a charging jack, but that's fine. I have high hopes for this saw. ... show more

    • Praise... but with some whining
I received the 4" mini-saw this week, and today I used it for the first time. When I mow the lawn, I don't want to have to duck beneath the thorny branches of my Acacia tree, and those branches were hanging low. Hanging low might be good for the male ego, but not for this purpose. Plus the city of Tempe has former Nazis trained as yard-care enforcers who will fine you if the branches are too low over the sidewalk. My little chainsaw made gloriously short work of the trimming process! But I do want to whine a bit... 1. The documentation does not mention what type of oil the saw uses for lubrication. That really should be documented for newbies. Fortunately the folks at the hardware store enlightened me, but really I shouldn't have had to make the trip. 2. The plastic lubrication bottle is empty. Sure, Amazon reflected that accurately in its description, but it is sort of obnoxious. I mean, when you buy a glass cleaning kit from Costco, they don't ask you to fill up the bottle on your own the first time. Again, I shouldn't have had to make the trip. 3. The bottle has a ratchet-shaped base on the nozzle that looks like it's supposed to be unscrewed. Nope. That sucker is there forever. Instead the very tip comes off, which is not obvious at all. Things that aren't obvious really should be documented. 4. The picture of the charging device didn't not match the one that come with the saw, which led me to believe not everything was included. The picture of the battery did not match the one that came with the saw, which led me to believe that I was missing something else as well. In the end it all worked out fine. I don't regret the purchase, but I would never have allowed myself that kind of sloppiness in my professional life. (Fortunately I'm retired now and can be as sloppy as I want.) ... show more

Cuts great! Battery life is reasonable. Only issue I have is when the saw is used for about 10-15 minutes it gets hot and stops working. After letting is sit. It runs again. I cut a round 5 inch thick bush like butter.

    • A giant tool that fits In anyone’s hand. Light and easiest tool I’ve ever used. And SAFE!
Loved the way it cut through branches 3” and smaller. Best thing was the light weight and safety of the tool. I would have liked an extra chain????? The other seesaw I bought was 6” and it came with a case as well as an extra chain.
