  • Really Amazing!
Without any doubt this is a really well built range finder. It feels really sturdy, those rubber grips feel amazing, really easy to use and to install the battery. I love how it also comes with a protector case that at the sometime has a keychain type hook so you can have it on you for easy access. Overall seems very accurate and I don't have any complaints about it, I really recommend it! ... show more

  • Works Great with Accurate and Consistent Readings
I ordered this Rangefinder to be able to use while target shooting at the range. I also figured it will come in handy for whatever miscellaneous semi-long distance questions that come up around the house. I can't tell you how many times I've been at home and thought, "I wonder how far away that barn actually is." Well, actually, I probably can tell you. The amount of times that sentenced has ever been uttered by me is, roughly, zero. Still, who can pass up some cool toys and gadgets, right? And this is definitely a cool little gadget. The rangefinder fits right in the palm of your hand. This is probably comparable to other rangefinders in size, but since this is the only one I own I can't be certain. The one I received is a dark green plastic overlayed with a non-removable, black rubber coating. The two function buttons are rubber coated as well. Minimum distance is 3.3 yards. Maximum distance per the manual is 900 yards. I tested this at the my local range out to 100 yards. It matched the distances posted at the range within +/- 0.2 yds. The manual lists the accuracy as +/- 0.5 meter (+/- 0.55 yards), so it does meet the advertised accuracy. The various modes are fairly straight forward once you get used to them. The mode labeled "Bow Mode" is the one I found was the easiest to read and interpret. In this mode, you point, hit the button, and get a reading. The Auto Height Mode and Vertical Height mode do take a few reads of the manual to understand. I don't know if I'll use those modes too much, but they are available and do work as described. My only complaint is with speed mode. Speed mode only measures in km/h and can't be switched to mph. This isn't a deal breaker, but something to note. Also note that instead of an AA or AAA, or even a 9V battery, this uses a CR2 battery. These batteries can easily be found at the hardware store, but they're not the type of battery one usually has lying around the house. It does come with one CR2 battery included. Overall, if you're looking for a handy, basic rangefinder, I'd say this easily fits the bill. I scanned the market of rangefinders to check prices before writing this review. Frankly, I can't for the life of me imagine why there are rangefinders out there that costs upwards of $500. Perhaps if you're trying to target a Russian convey, there may be features I'm not realizing. But I'm just shooting paper targets...and now I can go out and check how far away that barn actually is. ... show more

  • Good rangefinder
This is an accurate range finder and is a good value for the price. It's really easy to read and use, very handy to have. It is nice and compact and the case is very durable and strong. The battery has lasted a long time. It has a variety of different measurements (yards, meters, etc.)

  • Good with some slight design issues.
As a shooter, I like the MiLESEEY range finder, but I do have design concerns. Though I have bows, I am more of a firearms shooter, so this review is based on a gun owner's prospective. First off, the range finder arrived secured and well protected. It came in a brightly colored hard case For me, the size is perfect. The range finder fits perfectly in my hand, and I can easily manipulate the controls on the top. The optic bezel is also rubber and large enough to easily adjust to your preference. I do have concerns with the battery and battery compartment. The battery is a CR2-3V. I would have preferred a more common battery like a 9V or AA which are more accessible. Also, the battery compartment can be accidently opened if rubbed against a piece of equipment. There is no locking mechanism on the battery compartment. If it remains open, the cover can easily break off with enough pressure. There is also no protective rubber gasket around the battery compartment. Though the manufacturer indicated the range finder is splashproof, it is not IP67 rated so if dropped in a river or a creek, it can be damage. I am surprised it has a rain and fog ranging mode, but it isn’t waterproof. A lanyard loop should have been in the design to keep the user from losing control of the finder and dropping it. I do like the internal options of the range finder. For shooters, the slope angle isn’t much a concern unless targets are out more than 300 yards or steeper than 30 degrees at closer distances. This range finder gives me the much-needed slope that allows me to factor the shooting solution more accurately. I have not tested the accuracy of the angle information in this range finder. The lenses depict a clear image and focusing is a sinch. No issues there. I compared multiple targets (6) within a yard of each other and it can differentiate the different distances between the targets at a range of 100 yards. There is a slight learning curve to use all the functions of this range finder but continued use and practice, you will be a pro at it at in no time. ... show more
