The buttons that you are supposed to be able to push to unfold this arrived inoperable. They should have a springy feeling of resistance. Instead, one was sliding in or out too easily and one was locked in place. I could not unfold the scooter. However, after turning the buttons they finally released in a way that gives them the springy feel. I was able to unfold it at last.     • Incredibly smooth ride and the tallest of the Micro Kick scooters
Three years ago I bought a Micro Mini Kickboard for my then 3 year old. That scooter has been ridden into the ground and is still in great shape (and still ridden daily) so I know how well these are made and, just as importantly, how smoothly they ride compared to other scooters. We've owned 4 Razor scooters over the years and they are fast but not remotely as smooth. I finally took the plunge and ordered this Suspension model because it is the tallest of the Micro Kickboards and I wanted my 6'3" husband to be able to ride it as well (I'm 5'8"). I will say that, like the other reviewer, we initially had trouble getting the scooter to unlock and had to fiddle with the buttons a bit, but eventually it opened and we haven't had any other hiccups. The construction is very heavy-duty and the scooter itself is fairly heavy. It feels very substantial and looks attractive. As expected, the ride on this is VERY smooth, which I guess stands to reason since it has actual shocks on it. I also own a Razor A5 Lux scooter and although the wheels are roughly the same diameter it is not remotely as smooth. My hands tingle and are painful after riding up and down my street a few times from all the vibration on that one, and this is just from regular sidewalks, nothing out of the ordinary. So riding this Suspension model is like butter in comparison, it is noticeably smoother. I hardly feel the sidewalk cracks, can go up and down off driveways, and even train tracks are no trouble! The deck is wide enough that I can put both of my feet on it when cruising downhill either forward or perpendicular to the handle (I wear a women's size 7 so granted my feet are not that big) and the brake works well. The kickstand is a nice feature although my one criticism is that you can't kick it down with your foot like you would on a bike- I have to reach down to flip it open. But it's still nice to have. I've read some reviews that complain about the handle bar not being as long (side to side) as that of a Razor and that is true, my A5 Lux has a longer handle. But personally it hasn't made riding any harder for me, and I can still ride one handed if adjusting my sunglasses or something like that. So I don't know what the big deal is there. This suspension model is tall enough for my 6'3" husband to be able to ride comfortably, he does not have to bend over at all so that has been great because no other scooters are tall enough for him. Overall this is a fantastic scooter for an adult. It's kind of an indulgence to get this but it's cheaper than other adult toys like an ATV or boat and it's a blast to ride. I love riding with my children while they're on their scooters and I love riding around my neighborhood for exercise. It is incredibly fun and a very smooth ride. ... show more

High quality scooter that makes keeping up with my kids so much fun. The suspension works very welll and makes for a smooth ride on all kinds of surfaces. Super fast! The one annoying thing was the loud creaking sound it made out of the box but that was quickly rectified by some good old WD40. Customer support is top notch!! ... show more

    • Best scooter ever!
I love this scooter, I can not be more happy with it, I have had it for almost 3 years and I'm a heavy user of it, I'm using it everyday to pick up my daughter from school and both of us fit on it very well... Is an amazing way to move everywhere, I even take it with me when I take the bus or an uber to go to whatever I have to go so I can move around and go to different places very quickly. It's super sturdy too, I changed once the bearings of both wheels (very easy) , and I lost the SILVER PUSH BUTTON FOR MICRO SUSPENSION FOLDING BLOCK and they sent it for free, this brand is the best in scooters. My family own 3 of them. They have an excellent costumer service too. There is not way that this scooter could have less than 5 stars. I will always buy this brand.     • Helpful Hint for the Front Suspension
My husband and I got these for Christmas. We were riding them and trying to figure out why the front suspension wouldn't work. My husband, an engineer, took a close look at it and figured out how to get it to work: slide the black boot down, and you'll see a screw in the side; unscrew it with a Phillips screwdriver to remove it, slide the boot back up, and the front suspension will then work. This minor, but important detail, was not mentioned in the instructions that came with it, so we wanted everyone to know in case your micro suspension scooter has the same issue.     • good, but...
The scooters were problematic, in that we thought there was a front shock. We were misled by a customer feedback telling us to remove some bolt in the front to make it work. This only ruined the headset of the scooters. We took them to a bike shop, which charged us $50, and they were still not correct. That said, they were nice enough that we learned our lesson and bought two more (we have twins). We are disappointed both with Amazon and Micro, as we now have two great scooters, and two lousy worthless scooters in the basement, which we were unable to return due to the Amazon-merchant agreement. Lesson learned. Ball dropped by both Amazon and Micro for customer support. The scooters are otherwise sturdy and fun for our kids (12 years old), in a city with took many potholes and sidewalk cracks. They are also great down trails. This is an AWESOME scooter and company. We got our 4-year old a Micro Scooter for Christmas and he loved it. We ended up walking behind him as he scooted all over, so decided to get two adult scooters and scoot along side him. I got this one, my husband got the Hudora RX-205 LUX Big Wheel Fold Kick Scooter. This one is WAAAAAAAY WAAAAAAY better, totally worth the extra $150 (if you have it to spend). The suspension really really makes a difference. This has a markedly smoother ride. My husband rode this too and it supports weight very well. When I had been debating which scooter to get my son, I called Micro and they were SUPER helpful. ... show more

    • If you like Scooting as an adult this is something you want to consider.
I bought this for my wife and was surprised how sturdy it is. It glides smoothly and brings the kid in you :) I tried it for a bit and was fun scooting with the kids.
