I got this package of needles and put a 30 degree in my Maker cut everything you see for 30 containers when it came to my last sheet of vinyl for my project I couldn't wait to see the end result just like the first sheet and that was 10 mats 12x12. Got to the pink flower vases I cut 50 of these (my mat had lost it tackiness in one spot and they are beautiful after you weed it) those was the last ones I cut and they are just as good as the first ones. ... show more

    • These work great as a quick inexepensive replacement but wear out quickly
I like that they are inexpensive, you can get so many replacements for such a small amount. This works great with my Cricut Explore, some other users experienced problems with the cut depth I did NOT have that issue, nor did i have to adjust parameters. It worked perfect. Blades come with a rubber covering so that blade won't be exposed. The only downside is that they do tend to wear out quickly, I use my cricut about 3x a week for different projects, So i do not overuse it, hence why I think they wear out quickly. And they come in a small zipperlike bag, would have been nice to have a nice sturdy storage case for them. But other than that they do what they need to do. I may try what someone suggested, to assign a blade to each material and only use that blade for that. I replaced the blade about two weeks after replacing it, I did use it for several different materials, cardstock, vinyl, HTV, glitter HTV, stretch HTV. Only time i would experience cutting issue due to dull blade would be with the stretch HTV. Overall it is a good product, works amazing those first few cuts. ... show more

We have the Explore Air. The price is great. The quality is good but these are not an exact match in size. I imagine cutting paper is fine because you want to cut through. Vinyl cutting can be a challenge. Because the blades are slightly longer they will cut through the vinyl and the backing making projects way harder. Changing settings did not help the issue. I did however find a workaround. By placing playing cards in the blade holder carriage, you can adjust the height the blade holder sits. I found 3 playing cards to be perfect to cut all the way through the vinyl but not the backing. ... show more

Be aware that these blades are slightly longer than the official Cricut blades. This may be why some reviews said that they cut too deeply. They cut well for me in my test, but I felt like my machine (Maker) made noises like it had to work harder than usual, which was unsettling. Again this may be because of the imperfect blade length. I bought these blades due to the "good " reviews on them in regards to using them with my Cricut Maker. Do not waste your money buying them. They are slightly longer then the Cricut blades and cut right through my vinyl. It doesn't matter the pressure I set my machine to , the blades still cut through everything! I appreciate the sharpness of them but doesn't work for me . Makes it harder to pull off the mats and even onto transfer tape. ... show more

These needles are not good. No matter what setting I put them on to cut, it never cut properly. I tried different pressures using each needle with htv, printable iron on transfer paper, and glitter htv. Each time my vinyl was destroyed. Either it was too deep or not deep enough. Also, it never cuts evenly. My bad needles from cricut, can cut better than these. I will never buy again. I should've listened to the bad reviews on here. I am new to cricut machines and I own the explore air 2 and they fit well. Idk if they work better or worse than the much more expensive name brand options. I don't have any complaints. Great value for how many you get and I will purchase more when I need them.

    • Save your money and your HTV
As another reviewer advised, these blades cut too deep. Have tried a number of adjustments but they continue to randomly cut right through the htv and the carrier sometimes making the item unusable.
