I recently picked up this metal detector, and it's been excellent. It’s super easy to set up. I just unfolded it, adjusted the length, and was good to go. The other day, I decided to test it out around my property. I live in an older house, so I figured there might be some interesting finds. I started scanning near the backyard fence and immediately hit on something. The detector's clear tones made it easy to distinguish between different types of metal. I dug up a few old nails and some random junk, but the pinpoint accuracy of the upgraded DSP chip meant I wasn't digging up empty holes. Then, I moved to the front yard and picked up a stronger signal. Digging down, I found an old coin! It was a bit worn, but still a cool find. The 12-inch waterproof coil made it effortless to scan a large area quickly, and the five detection modes let me filter out some of the junk signals. Overall, this detector is durable, user-friendly, and super effective. Whether you're a newbie or a seasoned pro, it’s a fantastic tool for any treasure hunting adventure. It was easy to assemble, with clear instructions, I love the 3 knobs for making it longer/shorter, they are very easy to tighten and loosen, which make it easy to adjust for your height, when actually metal detecting it can be very sensitive which is nice (but if you don’t like that you can lower it), once you actually detect a metal (or if you know one is there) you switch to precise precision to find it easily (If you do not use precise position you will only be able to know there is a metal in area, not find where it is), you can’t move too fast with it as it needs time to detect stuff, and if you go fast it will not detect anything that isn’t massive but that is true with any metal detector, it does accurately detect what material the metal is which is neat, plus you can filter any thing you don’t wanna find, the depth meter is only accurate if you hold it perfectly still on the ground above a underground metal, plus it came with batteries which is nice ... show more

My husband and I have been wanting to metal detect for a while so I had to order this when I saw it. For just shy of $100 it seemed like a good deal for everything you need as a beginner. Super easy to set up and get started right away, and lightweight enough to let our toddler play around with. So far we've only found some coins and old nails around our yard but it works well and gives us all something fun to play around with. Nice package for the price point! ... show more

We just bought a piece of property and we're trying to locate the corner markers. We were told that there was metal in the markers so I ended up buying this metal detector to try to find them. It ended up working great since we were able to find all four of the markers. The markers were under four or five inches of soil and this was still able to pick it up. It was easy to use and the quality is really good. I would definitely recommend this for anybody that needs a metal detector. ... show more

I’m a beginner, but I find this detector to be pretty accurate. I have already found brass belt buckle, silver spoon, matchbox car and old bottle. Several other items too. Metal codes seem accurate , also depth and pin pointer mode.

Using this Metal Detector has been an exciting adventure from the start. Assembly was straightforward, and its lightweight, ergonomic design made it comfortable for hours of treasure hunting. The adjustable stem helped me make it fit my arm directly, but it also could be adjusted for my kids too. During my first outing, I unearthed coins buried nearly a foot underground. The LCD display is vibrant and easy to read, showing metal type and depth clearly. The five detection modes were easy to understand and it allowed me to focus on specific things that I wanted to find while filtering out unwanted debris. Its waterproof coil was a nice touch as it allows me to go into damp environments, allowing me to explore event further into areas I would not have in the past. This also does come with a travel shovel and headphones which makes it something that comes with everything you need. So far I am finding that this can be used by either a novice or more seasoned person. It is fun to use and I am looking forward to even more treasure hunts to come! ... show more
