  • Best Purchase Ever
Style: Metabo HPT NV65AH2 Siding Nailer
I bought this on Prime Day and finally got around to using it to put up about 150 cedar pickets. Ran 900 stainless steel 1-3/4 nails (also Metabo branded) without a single failure. Working by myself, I had all the pickets up in under 5 hours - which included breaks and carrying the pickets from my garage to back yard. So much better than using screws or driving nails with a hammer. Would highly recommend this nailer!!! ... show more

  • Must use Matabo nails
Style: Metabo HPT NV65AH2 Siding Nailer
Must use Matabo nails. I tried Dewalt siding nails and they are to close together and double shoot and jam 30 to 40 times per coil. Almost done with the first case of Matabo nails and only 2 miss fires and one was the last one in the coil. Wish it included a hanger but I will order one.

  • Plastic Dress
Style: Metabo HPT NV65AH2 Siding Nailer
I almost ripped the soft plastic guard off the front of it when I pulled the gun out of the box. It looks like packing plastic that became tangled in the nose, but it's actually supposed to stay attached. It's some kind of debris shield. The plastic coil guard (where the nails are loaded) seems like it could have been made of stronger stuff without losing the transparency, so I can't give it a full-star rating. I'm concerned about planned obsolescence. But it shoots perfectly. Oil in every time I use it, and hopefully it will last many years. The plastic is my only real concern. ... show more

  • Great Quality
Style: Metabo HPT NV65AH2 Siding Nailer
Bought this while building my house. It has been great. Easy to handle, durable, and reliable. It’s not too heavy and the compactness of it makes it easy to maneuver around ladders! Great buy!

  • Best siding nailer
Style: Metabo HPT NV65AH2 Siding Nailer
Used this gun to install board and batten siding on a 5000 sq/ft new house build and had no nail jambs. I also used Metabo coil nails 1 1/2 and 2 1/2.

  • It's a Hitachi under the label
Style: Metabo HPT NV65AH2 Siding Nailer
Nice to know that the quality did not change along with the name. This is the second of these that I have purchased, the first one in 2014 and still going strong. This nailer was purchased to supplement the first and I have no concerns about the first nailer dying anytime soon. In looking at the reviews, I did have some concerns about different brand nails, but I have had no issues with using, Metabo, Bostich or off-brand nails. It just cruises through anything I have fed it. The only change that I have made is that I use 3/8" fittings on all my nailers and it seems to help prevent jams and misfires. Definitely worth the money. ... show more

  • Perfect for application of Trim and siding
Style: Metabo HPT NV65AH2 Siding Nailer
I own many nail guns, I enjoy the power of the gun even shooting 2.5 inch nails. Perfect for cedar trim and siding. I my use this on home construction projects like planter boxes and dog houses etc. The coil nail last a long time so I don't have to refill the gun often like strip nail guns. Of course you would not use this for framing a home. But is now my go to gun for light general construction projects. It has not jammed or missified on me either. Use only good quality air tool oil, any regular oil can damage seals on nail guns causing them to swell even on nail driver mechanisms. I found that out the hard way with Milwaukee nail gun. ... show more
