Not sure what I can say that others have not about this Fantastic machine. It is extremely light and handles very well! I was shocked when I first picked it up. It still managed to feel like a high-quality and rugged piece of equipment. I shoot mostly very small Pins with it and it does so with great precision and ease. One thing I wish it did have is a way for you to pull back the safety nose so you could fire it without having to press it onto the surface. It took a little getting used to, but I really like it a lot. I use it more often than I would otherwise because it’s so pleasant to use. I have an Hitachi 16ga finish nailer and an Hitachi framing nailer. They’re both almost all metal and very sturdy, easily standing up to everyday use. I bought this brad nailer to replace a Bostich that gave up the ghost sheet after 15 years. Not sure if it’s just this product, but this Metabo (formerly Hitachi) nailer just isn’t as well-made as the other two. It operates fine, no jams after running a couple of thousand brads through it, but only time will tell if the plastic components hold up. ... show more

I have a couple Metabo (Hitachi) nailers and added this one since my older 18 ga nailer didn't shoot 2 inch nails. This worked very well and I've had zero issues or jammed nails.

I have this same model that uses the 1/4" staples and love it and decided to try out the brad nailer. Formerly known at Hitachi, Metabo hasn't changed a thing in quality. The only thing that's happened for me is that one of the plastic decorative pieces on the side of the head came off, as it is only held on with 2 sided tape. No biggie, because this thing really puts out. I especially appreciate the 2 choices of firing, single action versus double or automatic action, also known as "bump and go" action. This has sped up my process drastically. Super light and easy on my hands and elbow, easy to reload without worry. If jammed, that's an easy open and fix as well. You won't be disappointed with this purchase. May or may not cause you to want to sleep beside it as if it were your new Daisy Red Rider BB gun. 😆 ... show more
