I was delighted when I opened the package. These drapes have a nice woven texture to them that I would expect from a much more pricey set of drapes. They have a subtle shimmer that I'm used to seeing in jacquard-type weaves. The curtains are finished beautifully with a matching tasteful lining. We selected the color they call Beige in the description. We went with the sellers' product pictures and the color of the product on the page is perfectly accurate. I would call the color straw or muted light gold. This was exactly the color I wanted to go with a waterfall valance in our dining room. We put them on a 1" decorative curtain rod that we hung at 96" just so the drapes would meet the floor without dragging. These drapes have enough weight to hang straight and look finished without adding curtain weights. The drapes open and close well although they will be primarily open framing the window in our dining room. When they are closed they give a deep amount of light filtering in our north-facing window. I would have liked the grommets to be brushed gold or even an antique nickel, to me the polished silver grommets look out of place with our traditional decor but we have the waterfall valance on the rod in front of them so no one sees the grommet color anyway. The grommets would look trendy with modern, minimalistic, or industrial decor. ... show more

We got to sample these curtains, choosing the Navy Blue variety, and are so very happy we did. They almost look like denim, with such a rich blue color and incredible linen texture. They are absolutely gorgeous. The dark denim blue color and thick linen make it so they would block light and provide privacy, but aren't so heavy to be cumbersome. We will hang them on a double rod with a different natural color linen curtain that is somewhat sheer, as a layer underneath. It will be a stunning combo. With the different colors of this curtain they offer, I would think anyone could find a similar combo that fits their decor. Buying fabric items like curtains is a tough chore to do online, so it's pretty cool to find one that really does match the photographs so accurately. This is a really good find if the fabric style and colors are of interest to you. We couldn't be more pleased. I feel confident in reporting to you that you likely would be as well, and I'm not just saying that because we got to try these as part of the Vine program. This is a high quality curtain, and much better than any other we have purchased online. These curtains do look really nice. They have a nice texture but it does end up letting light come through. There is also a little of a shimmery effect when the light passes through. The grommets are a bit overly shiny plastic but for the most part you don't notice that. I'm mostly happy with but wish it would block out more light for my purpose. I used for windows halfway up the wall, so now when the curtains are closed you can see the light from window coming through the top of the curtain but not the bottom. As someone who values both style and proper sleep, I’m quite particular about window treatments. I was seeking an elevated look that also blocks light effectively. When I discovered these Melodieux linen textured blackout curtains in a beautiful neutral hue, I knew they were perfect for creating the dark, cozy oasis I was after! The rich beige color and visible weave are beautiful. I absolutely love the blackout lining on the reverse side that makes these curtains ideal for a restful night by fully enveloping my room in darkness. The material is great! It is nice and thick and well sewn. It has a very hefty feel to it which is excellent for stopping drafts. It's grommets were all well secured as well. The color was off. The website said it was burgundy. It was not. It really is closer to cranberry.

These are dark/navy blue just like the photos and you get a pair. I like how thick they are and am going to use them over our patio door in our bedroom at night. They have a little texture and a heathered look to them. Great pair of curtains.

These are a nice wine shade of red, with fairly thick, good-quality fabric, but not so thick that they don't drape nicely.
