I ordered these for our living quarters horse trailer. They are so nice and could pass for stoneware, as they do not look or feel like melamine. I decided to keep them for the house and put some others I already had in the LQ trailer. I ordered the gray and will probably order more. They arrived in perfect condition. I ordered 2 sets of white melamine dinner ware (set of 4) so that I would have a complete matching set of 8 to utilize for company. I love them, but when I washed both sets and consolidated them to put them away, I realized they were a different color. One set is white and the other set is more of an almond. While they are not extremely different, the difference would be very noticeable when the table was set for more than 4 people. I just ordered another set. I am hoping the 3rd set is identical to the whiter set since white is what I ordered. I will return the set that does not match when I receive the 3rd box and can see which of the first 2 they match. ... show more

Really pleased with this set. My kids recently got into doing the dishes which is awesome but of course one of my good china plates was immediately chipped when my 7yo dropped it in the sink! We're trying to be less wasteful and stop using disposables so this set us perfect for ther kids. looks nice enough to blend in with the real China when we're having a family meal and makes them feel more grown up.
