I love that this dog collar is longer in depth. We've had a difficult time finding anything that is long enough so our dog can't reach her back paw and ankle, which are infected. However, the padding on this collar that goes all the way around is too hot for our dog. She wouldn't stop sweating and was way too uncomfortable with this on. I don't know if this would work even in winter. Other than that, the cone works fine... It stays on and again I love the length. To the manufacturer: Please make more.of these but remove the padding! ... show more

This works great! I just got this in time for my dog. I just got him neutered and it helps him from not getting at his stitches. I made the part that goes around his neck a little smaller by following the enclosed directions. It comfortably stops him from biting himself. It looks like it doesn't hurt or even bother him at all. This cone collar is soft and more comfortable than the normal plastic cones that I have had to use for my dog in the past and my dog seemed comfortable with it on. I don't have to worry of him getting hurt with this on.
