The good: * Design is fine * The weight and solidity of the boards seems to be decent for the price. * The assembly instructions were reasonably clear. The bad: * Packing was loose allowing some of the boards to slide around during shipment. This created some marring on the very thin laminate finish (see the first two pictures). Fortunately, most of this was not in places that were visible; the rest could be touched up and made more or less unnoticeable. * The two rearmost holes were missing on piece (1) where the magnetic latch (H) attaches (see the third picture). I installed the front screws, marked the location for the rear screws, and drilled my own pilot holes. Not a problem for me, but it will be for many. * Speaking of the magnetic latch (H), mine didn't have one of the mounting holes completely tapped (molding issue, drill to the rescue again!) and even now one of the protruding magnets doesn't lock back into place consistently. Banging it around a bit seems to have mostly resolved the issue, but it's meh. * The hinges have their own set of screws included in their packages. Do not use these, as they are slightly too large for the pilot holes - use the screws in the main package. Do the instuctions even hint at this? Nah. Maybe they think it's funnier this way. * There are lots of extra parts, a few of which don't even go with this model. I don't mind this, but it may be confusing for some. The bad issues aren't enough to make it worth the hassle to disassmble and return, but it's not a great product. "Barely passable, maybe, if you have a drill and know how to use it." ... show more
