I have known for years that silicone is the best way to heal scars. Was so happy to see the Mederma, a trusted brand, makes these. They work great, stick well and are easy to cut. I will say however, they are thick and noticeable. I chose to wear them at night. They stay on well. I don’t reuse. Because my facial scar is small, I can cut a single patch to about 5 strips. They are worth the money, although there are others out there that are a bit cheaper and also thinner. I’m trying those as well. I started using them once the sutures had healed enough and the cut didn’t have discharge. (About 5 days after surgery) ... show more

I bought this thinking I could keep it on my knee scar. Went to bed and poof it’s gone, fell right off!!! Wastes of my money! Very disappointed in Maderma. They don’t stick, can’t reuse, tried to reuse the next night and nope, doesn’t stay stuck. So much for a “21 day use”
