  • Kit
I purchased this for my survival kit. I haven't used it yet but I opened it up and it is exactly as advertised.

  • Kit is super compact
This kit arrived on time and is in a very compact case...I saw one like it on a you tube and since I hike in snake and crawling biter country, AZ, I needed one...It came with 2 glass receiving cups instead of only one...I haven’t had to use it but it fits in my camera bag and if the need “strikes” I will now be prepared! ... show more

  • Great to have on hand!
We moved down south where copperheads are very common so I bought this to keep at home in the unfortunate event someone is bit. Luckily we haven’t had to use it but love that it’s nearby if needed

  • To save a life
This surely deserves 5 stars even tho I haven’t used it yet. There was an article about a woman who lives about 20 miles from me. She ordered this as they were moving to a farm and she wanted it for bees mainly. She and her husband took off for a walk with their 7 year old son. Her son reached under some rocks and was bit by a rattlesnake! She had this kit with her and while the husband called 911, she started extracting the venom. A helicopter was sent to their area and took him to the hospital. Paramedics said she had it extracted by the time they arrived! He was checked out and went home a couple of hours later. The father killed the snake but they showed him holding it afterwards. Having this certainly helped save this child’s life! This was on the news not made up. She told what kit she purchased from Amazon. So, that is why I bought one. Inexpensive, arrived in 2 days, and I feel better just having it. ... show more

  • Basic
I got this for my BIL who is terrified of snakes and got a trophy hunt tag for an area riddled with them. I figured if he had a kit and was prepared, he’d never actually see one. When the kit arrived, it came in the plastic Amazon bag and the kit was opened with all the pieces loose in the bag; however everything seemed to be present and intact. I attempted to put it back together and I’m not sure how it all fit in there. The case could stand to bigger and/or better secured. Otherwise, the kit had a few suction options and seems fairly straightforward. It’s really basic. I would definitely make sure you have a first aid kit to supplement this little kit. It didn’t come with any wipes or antiseptic. If I were to purchase one again, I would probably spend a few more dollars for something more robust. ... show more

  • I used this on a facial cyst
I had a cyst on my cheek for several years. I lost my insurance after Obamacare and so I was unable to go to the doctor. Finally, I was able to see a doctor and he attempted to drain the cyst. But he was not able to get much from it. He referred me to a specialist who cost me more money but did nothing because he was nervous to touch it without a CT scan. But a few weeks later, the cyst began to drain from the puncture hole the first doctor made in his attempt to drain it. I purchased this and began using it every week to draw out the "junk". A month later my disfiguring cyst is gone and I feel a lot better about being seen in public. You should always follow the guidance of a doctor, and never touch a wound with your hands. That is why I bought this. I sterilize the cup before and after each use with alcohol. The device has been great. ... show more

  • Safety in the woods
I hunt in the Southeast where copperheads and timber rattlers are fairly common. Having the Ven-Ex gives me peace of mind when going into the woods. The compact size makes it easy to carry or stow in a backpack. Highly recommend for all outdoorsmen.
