    • Smelly, messy, but effective
I like this brand of scar cream and use both this and the night cream on a recent surgery scar. Both smell pretty awful, although the submarine sandwich with extra onions smelling night cream is by far the smelliest of the two. Thankfully, the day cream scent is much more tolerable and less off putting. The silicone does flake and make a mess. This is worse if the wound is scratched. It’s kind of a vicious cycle since the cream tends to make my scar itch like crazy. Also, if the silicone flakes fall onto a glass or reflective surface, they can cause quite a mess. Otherwise, the cream applies easily and my scar appears to be both fading and flattening. That’s awesome considering the long scar goes across nearly my entire neck. This worked great for my dad years ago a reduced the appearance of his cancer scare. It’s absorbs quickly, no flaky appearance. It’s a good value for your money. It’s not thick, it thin and dries fast. It’ll be great for street marks

Sorry you're about to stare at my belly button, it's bittersweet to share this to you. I was diagnosed with cancer in my 30s, leading to a major surgery and a three month recovery period, and nearly a six month rehab period. All that being said, I came out a better person in some aspects but it wasn't easy getting there. I'm tell you this because it goes hand in hand. No woman wants to ever think that would be affected by the big bad c word, much less bare the scars of gives you. I already felt like less of a person because of it, and seeing these scars reminded me every moment of what I'm battling. It was REALLY hard to look at. Deep purple, raised *and* indented scars... I thought I would have to look at these things, almost mocking me, it was really a mind game at first. No more! I wanted to erase these scars and the pain they've caused me, changed my mindset along with it. Got this gel and went to work using exactly as directed. Every. Single. Day. This change did not happen overnight. This change didn't even happen in a few weeks. This was a few months. I've attached a timeline of pictures to show how well this lightens the scars, brightens then skin, and keeps everything soft and smooth. I started working out and tightening the skin, 55 pounds lost later, that last picture is where I am now. I know they'll never fully go away, but I've accepted this level of scarring. really works, but takes like 2 weeks at least to see it in effect. yes you want to use it once or twice a day. 7 days a week. in a month my new scars went away, but i fuess that means my scars from years and years ago will take a few months. my tip to another buyer? use half a grain of rice or a whole grain of rice worth on the spot you're healing, don't go all in there with a hand full thinking it will heal in one day. the product is as big as most thumbs so don't waste it. ... show more
