    • Great easy option for gathering honey
I've been growing my bee tools and parts over the past year while my hive grows. So far I haven't been taking any of their honey, well at least not processing it. I had 8 frames sealed in bags waiting for processing not sure when I'd have money for the big spinning drum for processing. Now I can wait and still have honey. 13$ for 2 bags will go a long way to hold me over until I can afford an extractor. I picked up some food grade 5 gallon buckets and tried one of the bags with it. The fit is easy and the cord helps lock it in place. This is like 'cheese cloth for honey'. All I had to do was break open the combs in my frames and let them drain through. The mesh kept the honey collected in the bucket nice and clean. A bit of warm soapy water when I was done and then drying out on the clothes line and the bag seems like new again ready for the next time I pull frames from their super. ... show more
