I inherited a swarm of bees, and therefore also the hobby. I had started with nothing, and didn't want to get a whole large kit of cheap quality products. After lots of research, i had discovered some very basic tools which this kit had most of them to get me started. These tools are great quality that should last a few years into the hobby and won't break the bank in the process. I'd recommend this kit over a hive that comes with everything, or a kit that has just entirely way too many tools of lower quality. Time will but the ultimate test for all of these, i only foresee the brush needing possible replacement, while the other tools may last for many years. ... show more

I was pretty impressed with the quality for the cost. Everything is well-made. The gloves were too large and I didn't notice an option for size selection, which would've been nice. I highly recommend this collection for new apairists!!!🐝

I have not used these products yet, but for the money, I am happy. the gloves fit well (probably would fall under a "large" size) and the tools seem sturdy. Nothing super exciting or worthy of passing on to your grandson, but they will work. One of the hive tools had ridiculously sharp edges on the handle, so make sure to file them smooth before use. ... show more

I bought this kit to add as a backup for the tools that I already have and let me just tell you that I'm extremely pleased with this kit. The hive tools and frame grip are sturdy and well made. I love the different uncapping tools that this kit came with as well as the inclusion of the queen cage and beetle traps. I would definitely recommend this product to any and all aspiring and veteran Beekeepers alike.
