My tankless didn’t come with a set, so I had to buy them. Why would it not come with a set for back flushing?? Idk but since I did have to buy them these were in a reasonable price range and are just as good as the $50-$80 dollar sets.

They were easy to install, and very sturdy. No leaks in the first try; I used the thickest Teflon brand. However, these are 3/4" but all my plumbing is 1/2" and I could not find 1/2" service valves for water heater, so you have to use adapters everywhere. I am very happy with the product.

Was a bit concerned having read a few negative reviews, but gave it a shot since most are positive and Amazon is easy to deal with in case I'd have to return. Some reviewers complained about leaking. I did have one of the threads drip a little under pressure, but tightening it up solved the problem. Just make sure you're using thread seal tape where needed, tighten everything well and you'll be fine. There's also no need to over tighten. Functionally, all the valves felt good, nothing about the kit felt flimsy or cheap. Amazon delivers quickly, what else can you ask for? Would recommend for professionals or advanced DIYers. ... show more

Quality valves - good value for the money. The ONLY complaint I had is the advertising pictures. The hot (red) valve I received has the over-pressure port 180 degrees out from the main water cutoff. There was not enough clearance between the wall to install the overpressure valve while keeping the main valves aligned. By twisting the valve orientations, it worked - but it looks ugly. I wish I had paid closer attention to the porting alignment of this valve set. Other than this, the valve works great and is of good quality. ... show more

    • Was pleasantly surprised by the product quality.
They seem to be very good quality, stainless steel valve balls, with nylon bushings and brass body. It also isn't clear from the pics or description, but there are UNION connections to connect the valves to the water heater, which make it much easier to replace the water heater if needed. I was leery because description & pics are incorrect or not complete. The description and pics don't show the T&P valve port, but it's there on the hot water valve, just as it should be. One pic in the description shows the T&P valve and hot water valve connected in a completely wrong and unsafe way. Follow the directions in the box or hire a plumber. I'm very happy & was pleasantly surprised by the unions and overall quality. I will be ordering again. ... show more
