The Danco Waterproof Silicone Sealant Grease is ideal for lubricating faucet stems, valves and cartridges when repairing a leaky faucet. Plumbers Faucet and Valve Grease helps reduce friction, provides long-lasting lubrication and helps hard-turning faucets work smoothly. It is NSF 61 approved and meets or exceeds the requirements of FDA regulation 21. Our Silicone Faucet Grease works well in temperatures between -40° to 400° F and can be formulated for many plumbing and household applications. This Silicone Faucet Grease is water resilient and oxidation resistant and can be used on ceramic stems.     • This stuff is amazing for all lube related tasks
Works amazing for around the house, automotive, best for O-Rings, stubborn zippers, noisy tracks. Even though the bottle is small it has a good amount it in and you don’t need a lot to get the job done, dab a little on whatever your applying and rub around the entire area then your good to go.

The greese works well but the nozzle is a little difficult to get into some places. Other than that it is good. The greese is not something you would want to put into other things, like a syringe, to squeeze it out unless that syringe is disposable since the greese will not wash off.

I purchased the DANCO Waterproof Silicone Faucet Grease / Sealant to protect a new set of rubber O-rings I needed to install on my Price Pfister kitchen faucet due to a persistent leak coming from below the handle. Although I have never used silicone grease before, it was recommended strongly by the manufacturer. Using it was pretty straightforward: you simply squeeze the tube after piercing the tip with a needle and the grease comes out pretty slowly and evenly. You can use your fingertip to spread the grease evenly over the O-rings and to lubricate other fittings that twist. I was amazed how little you actually need to get the job done. The DANCO Waterproof Silicone Faucet Grease/Sealant really performs like a champ. The faucet spout and handle turn smoothly and in conjunction with the O-rings, the leak is fixed. You simply wipe up any excess with a cloth or paper towel. The Danco tube has a cap that screws in place to protect the grease for next time. I award it 5 stars and recommend it without reservation. ... show more

I've used this on multiple plumbing projects and even to lube the threads on the end of hoses. It works very well for my needs and although the tube is small, I've been able to use just tiny amounts to make a big difference.

    • DANCO Waterproof Silicone Faucet Grease
I saw a plumber using this product on an internet channel when he was repairing a squeaky bathroom faucet handle. I HAD a squeaky faucet handle too. He used it on the new replacement faucet parts and silicone gaskets (o-rings) as he was reassembling the faucet handle. This will make it squeak free for a long time. I repaired my faucet with this grease and a new replacement kit (purchased on Amazon) and the handle turns so smooth now and no more squeak. There is a chance that I could have repaired the squeaky handle just by using the silicone grease, but while I had the handle apart I figured I might as well replace the internal parts as well. I 'd never heard of this product before, but you can bet I will be using it on any plumbing repairs that incorporates silicon o-rings or gaskets from now on.
