Description

Our MaxxHaul Truck Bed Extender allows you to extend your vehicle's loading length by 49" quick and easy. Adjustable height (from the top of hitch opening): bed height between 13-3/8" and 20-3/8", roof height between 53-3/8" and 60-3/8". Fits into standard 2" x 2" class III and IV hitch receivers. Ideal for pick up trucks with short bed, SUV's, vans or other vehicles that can load lumbers, canoes, etc. Features two welded loops on each end of the cross bar to tie down any loads for added security. The extender is black powder coated to resist rust and corrosion. Maximum distributed weight capacity of 350 lbs.

The extender itself appears well made and was easy to assemble and install. I consider it a good value for the price. However, my package did not include the red flag as displayed in the ad picture. All parts of the extender appeared unused, including the unopened package of bolts and pins. After contacting manufacturer support, I found that I had bought a "used" item, and that I had bought from a 3rd party, so a flag (new or used) could not be sent to me as pictured. Also, for the above reason, no warranty was available. The only options presented to me were to return the item to Amazon, or to purchase a flag from the manufacturer. Needed a way to get 14’ casing trim and this handy little hitch extender worked perfectly. Can’t beat it for the price. Useful tip: supplied hitch pin was too large in diameter to fit through my receiver hitch hole but lucky I had a leftover pin laying around that worked. So just be aware that the supplied pin may not fit all receiver hitches And yes, it wobbles in the receiver when you’re using it in the vertical position such as my picture shows on my SUV. It’s not a foolproof perfect design but what do you expect for $50/60 ? Breakdown is a breeze to quickly remove from your vehicle and place it back inside when you’re done with it I’m sure the thing will serve me well for years to come and come in handy transporting long cargo.
