I bought one of these, and was told that there was battery issues. For less than $200, I didn't mind doing a little testing and possible replace the battery. I have quite a few li-ion cells to build a new one. When I get the results I'll post them here. So a DIY person can have insite on this. First night (dissection) Once I crack the battery case open. I tested the cells. And no surprise, all the cells were completely discharged. So I removed the dead battery and connected a temporary one. When I connected the main. BANG!! Blew off part of the terminal on the connector. Found the second issue. The ground wire was not connected, in fact it was taped to another wire. My fiance just got this delivered today and I assembled it while he was at work since I know best whether or not if it's good quality. Well, this most certainly is not. I put it together, tried to charge it and turn it on and nothing. The charger says it's charged and yet the power button isn't working. He was really excited about this and it's just a big let down. Plus it looks like it was someone else's return and they just shipped it back out without actually doing any work or anything on it. Such a waste of money and I highly doubt he'll trust Amazon for anything like this ever again. We're better off just looking in stores. Thank you for the waste of money you pos'. ... show more
