Updated 12/13/17: Used now for a few weeks, hasn't repeated the "popping free" that happened on my very first drive. Happy with the purchase - upgraded to 5 stars since it is a great value for much less than your average cover. Adjusting it initially took some doing because it is very sensitive to the spacing at the rear - a gap bigger than 1/8th inch on either side will cause it to pop open. Once I figured that out (at night...) it hasn't given me any more trouble. Original post: Installed pretty quickly, but latch mechanism is a bit frustrating. Took a while to get it adjusted right, and even then, it popped loose while driving to work today. I think for the price it is a decent value, almost $100 cheaper than my old cover, but I'm not a huge fan of the latch mechanism, as it doesn't have a latch, so much as the tension of the cover holds it in place. For those who might understand me, most of my tonneau covers had a release latch on one or both sides by the tailgate. This one just has a cable in the middle which you pull to release, but it feels kinda flimsy. it is a braided metal cable, so may be fine - I'll post an update if it fails me! Going camping in a week or two, that will put it to the test, as we'll be opening 7 closing the tailgate multiple times over that weekend. ... show more

This tonneau cover arrived in a good box and was packaged very well. All parts looked sturdy and well made. Instructions were easy to follow and assembly was easy. I used the extra front gasket to make sure of the seal in the front. The clamps are the best I’ve ever used and are easy to install. It appears that the cover should be water tight but I won’t know until I’ve had it on for a while. I would give it 5 stars if it remains mostly water tight and holds up to repeated use. While it takes more than 15 minutes to install (more like an hour if you do it carefully), this cover fit perfectly on my 2024 Ram 1500 Bighorn. Looks to be excellent material and I especially like the two center cross bars and the slight center elevation they provide - they should prevent any pooling of water in the center of the cover. ... show more

Installed it. Looked great. The locks won't spring back to secure it. Even lubricated them . So you have to reach in and push them back manually. So I removed and sent it back. 😞

Bought this so I could put our luggage in the back for a trip to the beach. Fit perfect and looks nice. Very easy to install. Simple to adjust tightness. Drove through rain and everything stayed dry although there was water in the ribs of my plastic bedliner. Very happy with it for under $200
