You can hold it over your thigh, or you can put it on the floor or wall, and place your leg, or back, against it. I picked this up to help provide relief for my muscles after rigorous workouts - it's a BEAST. I have a few massage devices and this one stands out because it allows me to get a substantial grip on the device which provides me with an amazing massage with little to no effort on my part. My only complaint about this is the buttons, I wish their was some type of haptic feedback other than just a beeping sound. I often found myself trying to hit the buttons multiple times in some cases to change modes or intensity levels. Other than that though this device is perfect for post workout recovery. This isn't a casual type of massager in my opinion, it does have some weight to it, but that weight translates into a massive battery and double grips which allow this massager to penerate deep into my muscles. I also appreciate that this uses a typical USB Type-C charging cable which ensures I'll never have to worry about losing the included charger. Overall this is 4.5/5 stars in my opinion, I would like to see this priced a little lower around $80 (instead of $100); however, it's a very solid unit and this is excellent at loosening up my tight muscles, even the tough to reach one's in my lower back. ... show more

This is a professional build and quality massager. The four contacts have twelve settings going from, in my opinion, light to extremely heavy duty. After using this, I felt a demonstrable reduction of tension and stress in my muscles. As advertised, I can see being able to do back to back workouts if I used this in between. The battery lasts for a very long time which means you can do several massage sessions between charging. The massage "heads" are comfortable and don't grab skin which is great if you wanted to do a longer treatment. Overall, this is a really nice percussion massager. This is amazing, especially for athletes or people who do a lot of labor. Just lay there and have your partner navigate this device all over your body and it just feels so good. You can control the speed, time and cadence. I personally believe that this is a professional quality product. I can't afford to own a massage chair so this is the next best thing. I charged the massager overnight and used it the next day after a long day at work. It was the best wind-down and my back felt great after just 15 minutes. I like that I can pick the speed, intensity, and how long to run the massager. This is a wonderful back massager! I love it so much! It does need a full charge before it will start. That’s the only downfall having to wait to use it. I had trouble finding the power outlet on it at first, I took a picture to show where to plug it in at. It has a ton of power. I only need to use it on the lowest setting.
