So this will need to be a 2 part review. I just received the carrier today. I plan to use it on a Ford Maverick that I'm picking up from the dealer in 2 days. This carrier was one of those attempts to find a diamond in the rough. It is a brand I didn't recognize. Only 1 single review when I bought it. The price was appealing and it has features that check some boxes for me. Delivery - typical outstandingly fast delivery. Love Amazon! Packaging - No damage. Well packed. Instructions - Minimalist but not hard to figure out. Note that this is marked as model # "AF1223" on the front of the instructions. However, when I googled that model number, it didn't really find anything that seemed to match up. Just letting you know what's actually marked on the documentation. Tools - None included. Pull out your own toolbox. Parts - Everything was there, plus a baggie marked as extra parts. Assembly - So far I just hand tightened everything. No tools were included so I'll need to pull out a wrench / socket to tighten everything. Meet my expectations? Yes, absolutely (so far). I haven't used it and I'll update my review when I do. That said, it went together well, feels very solid, and looks exactly like the picture in the Amazon listing. No negative surprises so far. Stay tuned for part 2. :) ... show more

I bought this to move my 70 lbs e-bike. After a couple of thousand miles it’s holding up great. I only use it for one bike though. It’s quite heavy and cumbersome to move around when not installed on the hitch, but it does the job well.

First I wanted to let you all know about the great customer service. I had an issue with one of the locks, the keys didn't work in it. I messaged the seller, and they were quick to send me a replacement lock. It's was fairly simple to install. The rack went together easily. The center bar does not fold on mine either, which is not an issue for me. It felt a little too wobbly at the pin for the tilt feature, so I used a 12" hitch extender and put a bolt in place of the pin for sturdiness.
