I purchased the Cambom Manual Food Chopper to make chop for my budgie, Lulu, and I must say it has exceeded my expectations! I chose this model because of its compact size, convenience, and affordable price, and it has proven to be a fantastic addition to my kitchen. Performance & Ease of Use This chopper works best when used correctly and with the right ingredients. I’ve noticed that some people overload it or try to chop items that are too hard, which can lead to breakage. However, if you follow the clear instructions included in the box, you won’t run into any issues. The pull cord mechanism is smooth and efficient, but it’s important to pull firmly—not aggressively, as if starting a stubborn lawnmower! Once the food starts breaking down, you can continue pulling until you reach your desired consistency. Cleaning & Maintenance Cleaning is super easy. I recommend wiping the bottom of the lid with a damp cloth instead of rinsing it under running water to prevent moisture from getting inside. The rest of the chopper is simple to clean and dries quickly. Final Thoughts Even though I originally bought this for preparing bird chop, I find myself using it for my own meal prep as well! This little manually operated mini chopper is perfect for chopping small batches. My 18 year old grandpuppy needs to have her natural nugget food in smaller chunks because she’s missing some teeth. A food processor or blender both basically pulverized her food. But you can easily control how finely to chop her food with this chopper. I love love love this product but of course with everything there’s pros and con and I shall list them for you! PROS; - it’s easy to use and the handle holds up nicely while you’re making either short or long pulls -it’s easy to clean as it smaller than the other size -the blades hold up very well with variety of different foods, I’ve used chicken, veggies and deli meats in it and it chops them all nice and small -for something small it works very quickly and makes prepping for dinner a breeze! CONS; -with the size being smaller, you do have to be mindful on how large of food you are adding. I recommend putting into smaller pieces vs larger pieces. I feel like I’m cutting mine julienne style before adding them in sometimes but not always the case of course. -when you’re blending your food, you need to keep moving down the ingredient to make sure it’s blending properly. I will usually place it on a folded dish towel and just hit it lightly against the towel on the counter to bring the food down. Otherwise not too shabby for a little device! Works great if you have a smaller space/storage and it holds up very well. I have yet to see it fail me and it’s become my best kitchen tool! ... show more

We planned to make stuffed sprout paratha. Paratha can be closely describes as Indian rolld flatbread cooked on flat top skillet with our without stuffung. In this case, the stuffing was chopped sprouts, chopped garlic and Ginger. The chopping has to be done just right and the Cambom chopper made it happen. It was perfect. By stopping it earlier, it could have been made coarse. We were amazed at how the ginger and garlic which was small quantities. Hint - I would suggest not to pull the cord to a 100% length, just between 85 to 90% to ensure it does not get damaged. ... show more

I bought this to dice white onions into tiny pieces. It only works if you fill it halfway with small pieces of onions. Works much better with softer vegetables such as greens. But overall not too bad.
