  • Complete Overview! (Pros/Cons)
Color: Bright White
The media could not be loaded. I purchased not only the white polygel but also the markartt green polygel kit. The green nails I did were my very first ever set of polygel nails! Polygel is super beginner friendly and I highly suggest it. My second set I painted over with regular polish (red and sparkles). And my most recent set I did with the white polygel as well as the clear that came with my kit. I also decided to buy some gel polish and gold flakes. I have never done nails before and I gotta say that I think they turned out really well. The polygel was strong and lasted about 5-6 weeks. Pros: -Beautiful colors -super adaptable -beginner friendly -not overly time consuming -long lasting -light weight Cons: -I recommend getting an electronic file to help the removal process. (Otherwise it takes ages) -dual forms get super sticky afterwards and are difficult to clean. (Soak in nail polish remover) -with mixing the pigmented polygel and the clear polygel you run the risk of your nails breaking easier. (Not practical; stick with one color and then adding design on top) Breakdown of each set: Set 1; Green polygel kit My first ever set of polygel nails! I was so excited about this kit. However, I was super upset because I had paid for two day shipping and it took three weeks to arrive! Although the polygel took forever to arrive, the lamp I purchased on the same day from markartt only took one day to arrive. Altough the shipping was inconsistent everything arrived unscathed and I was super excited to do my first ever set. This set took me about 3-4 hours. I ended up taking a little dotting tool and regular dark green polish to decorate the nails. I gotta say that on my first set, my nails were super thick. To thin out the underside of my nails after curing I had to use an e-file. I was nervous to use and e-file because I’m not a professional and I gotta say after doing a few sets I am glad I have it. Set 2; Red & Sparkly The red sparkly set I did, I used the white polygel as the base. This set was super simple. It took maybe 3 hours including the red and sparkle polish on top. Super simple. Set 3; Clear/White Marble + Gold This set was by far my most complicated one. I had an idea in my head to make clear and white marble nails. After finishing the set I realized that just the clear and white looked kinda funny and I wanted to do something dramatic with them. I went ahead and purchased some gold and rose gold flakes as well as a gel polish set. I used the markartt base polish as a type of glue for the gold flakes and it worked really well. And then I used the gold glittery gel polish for my accent nail. Although these nails were beautiful, they didn’t last as long as my first two sets. I think the combination of the clear polygel and the pigmented polygel mixed together made the nail loose structural stability. I think that using two different pigmented polygels would probably work better. The clear polygel is just a slightly thinner consistency. These nails took about 4 hours to do, but only lasted 3 weeks. ... show more

  • Really good product
Color: Clear
I really loved this because it was pretty easy to use for the first time. The thing I will say is that it's super sticky. But overall I do recommend!

  • Nice polygel
Color: Milky White
I'm giving 5 stars because the color description is very accurate. It is a soft-white color and it was a fairly easy application for the first time.

  • Where is the form??
Color: French Press
How are you supposed to apply this? The video shows a form of some sort to flatten the gel. I got nothing. Am I supposed to have this form? Mine came with nothing. Update: so I ordered the forms and watched a tutorial. Guess you should order the kit first. They don’t explain that. So far I’m impressed. It took me quite awhile to do them. With practice I think I could do it much faster. My biggest problem was too much gel under the nail. I decided to try this because all of a sudden my nails don’t seem to grow. After trying to get them looking healthy for months, I was tired of ugly nails. Will see how long they last. ... show more

  • BEST Brand! Super easy to work with!
Color: Milky White
The most important part about using poly gel is to remember to take your time. It WILL NOT harden until you use a LED/UV lamp (120sec). Practice on one nail first, taking all the time you need to check that it’s smooth and equal from all angles. I ordered the foil forms to build my tips. I don’t recommend that method for beginners. Order the tips and glue, and make sure you also order the nail dehydrator and primer set (this prevents lifting)!!! Then, go to town! My first set took me 2hrs. Now, I can do a set in 1hr. I used natural nude with milky white. Definitely watch a few polygel tutorials on YouTube. Do not take a thick amount all the way to the cuticle. Just gently use your nail brush to pat it close to the cuticle, and then gently work it up your apex. Then, I created the “smile” area, UV Lamp for 60seconds, added my white/built my top, UV Lamp for 120 seconds, twice. These do not soak off, so ensure you have a nail Dremel, plenty of 180/100 nail files. So far no lifting! ... show more

  • Smooth application... but allergic reaction
Color: Clear
Ive used other polygel products with no issues. This product went on great, but unlike other products, my cuticles and tips of my finger got severely itchy, broke out in little bumps, and cuticles swelled up. Had to remove all the product less than half a week later and after 3 days post removal, my fingers are finally starting to recover. ... show more

  • Love this product
Color: Clear
First time using hybrid gel and I ordered this brand in 2 different colors, one being clear. I can say it is completely clear and easy to work with. I like how it will not dry (cure) until you put it in the UV/LED lamp, so you can work on your finger for however long you need to perfect it. I’m a beginner and can say I’ve enjoyed learning how to apply hybrid gel, it works well with 70% isopropyl alcohol as a slip. Will repurchase more colors! ... show more
