  • Best bipod, light, sturdy, adjustable, easy to use!
Color: Black Style: 1913 Picatinny Rail Pattern Name: Gun Rest
If you are considering the magpul bipod, buy it! It has provided me with everything I need in a bipod without selling the ranch! Lightweight, solid, easy to adjust and I really like the swivel feature to level out the horizontal regardless of the uneven ground. If you have any reservations about the polymer plastic, it’s proved durable for me at the range and in the field hunting deer in the sierras. Buy with confidence and consider all the options for attaching to picatinny rails or sling stud. ... show more

  • Almost as good as a Harris.
Color: Flat Dark Earth Style: 1913 Picatinny Rail Pattern Name: Gun Rest
This bipod is almost as good as a Harris and if counting a Picatinny to swivel stud adapter its 5 -6oz lighter than my Harris S 6-9" which is the main reason I bought it. The good. Its lightweight and 5-6oz on the end of your gun makes a difference, the legs deploy quickly and easily, the pan and tilt are adjusted on one large knurled nut, there is plenty of range of motion both pan and tilt, you can easily use the bipod legs panned to the side on walls/barricades, the legs adjust height easily, and the bipod takes a heavy forward load with no impression that you are straining it. The not so good. The legs are a little difficult to deploy in a smooth one handed operation, they open at an angle so you need to flatten out your hand and push and one of them likes to bind, I am sure practice will make it easier to do but its something I noticed. Folding the legs back up is also tricky using your left hand its super easy to fold the left leg but you have to contort your wrist to push the button on the right side to fold the leg. Again I am sure practice will make it easier but its something I noticed. The pan and tilt are a single adjustment that is in a sort of inconvenient place if you are used to the Harris system with a lever add on this is certainly an adjustment you will have to make. Maybe someone will make a lever that can be added to nut for this bipod. Also it seems no matter how tight you get that nut it won't lock out either adjustment and it seems to loosen once you start using it. So if you love the fact that you can set and lock your Harris that might be a deal breaker for you. Its not for me, with the nut very tight you can set the tilt and it will stay put, just not locked as solid as a Harris would be. There is a slight rattle to the bipod the fit between the polymer outer shell of the bipod and the metal inner legs is a tiny bit loose and it does make a very small amount of noise. Its nothing major, its not loud but it is there. Overall this bipod is good, it has good features, seems very well made, is strong, lightweight and durable. Its just not quite as good as a Harris for precision shooting since you cant easily lock the tilt/pan. I would recommend it but just know the limitations of the product. ... show more

  • Very high quality !
Color: Black Style: 1913 Picatinny Rail Pattern Name: Gun Rest
I have four different grades of bipods - from very inexpensive to the Magpul . The Magpul is the best design by far. Easy to install, and configure to different terrains, and very sturdy . No wobble . It is slightly more expensive than my others, but it is worth the price paid . I will probably end up replacing the other ones with Magpul bipods ... show more

very easy to install and the product is the best when it come to Bipod. I use this on my M-rail AR10 and it looks amazing. Love it

  • Does its job, but just shy of great
Color: Black Style: M-LOK Pattern Name: Gun Rest
I ordered this bipod as the final piece of what is mostly going to be a budget-friendly .308 target rifle (Howa 1500; Hera H7 chassis). The clean minimalist styling would nicely complement the Hera's space-rifle looks and the almost uniformly positive reviews along with Magpul's reputation for producing quality firearm accessories at a good price put it at the top of my list. Attachment was as dead-simple as with any M-LOK product and it definitely looks the part. I also appreciate the simple operation - the legs lock solidly into place and are easily adjusted for height. The only things holding this product back from a full five stars are the lack of a positive lock for the tilt and pan functions and the lightweight construction. While the primary adjustment knob is easy to use and nicely textured for a good grip, it's impossible to finch it down enough to absolutely prevent a solid bump from either canting the rifle or pivoting the bipod - some form of positive lock would be nice. Additionally, the legs definitely flex a fair bit when extended. To be fair, they're being asked to support a 12-pound setup, so I may be pushing the limits of what is a fairly light simple bipod, but it's still worth mentioning. It's still a quality piece and I would wholeheartedly recommend it for a lighter gun - I'll likely end up moving this to one of my ARs and find a sturdier (and likely significantly more expensive) solution for this rifle down the road. I would still highly recommend this bipod, but not for all setups. ... show more

Color: Flat Dark Earth Style: M-LOK Pattern Name: Gun Rest
This performs as intended for sure. Reliable company, good pricing which is awesome consider name brands usually hike the prices for no reason. Got solid performance so far on AR-15 and AR-10 (.308) platform. No issues so far, but thats only about 100 rnds each. One thing I would recommend, HIGHLY, is that you follow instructions. Especially when tightening it down to your rail. I might have over torqued it, sheering the interior of the bolt and hex key would not work. Had to dremel it out. So. Operator error there but doesn't hurt to give a warning, especially to you all gearing up your first pew pews (not sure if Amazon is all censor-ish like youtube). Those newbies to firearms/airsoft; this is really best for your long gun, helps for engagements outside 300 imo. Can still be useful but for shorter distances you might want lights/lasers, forgrips. ... show more
