I got this apple charging station for my husband because he wanted something to charge all his Apple devices in one place. We have tried many different ones but this one we both love the best. It has been sturdy, reliable, and powers up the Apple devices great but my husband loves how it folds flat and can be used when he travels. Also, I appreciate that it isn't a bulky ugly thing in our bedroom. I am so glad my husband is happy with this charging station because when it was stolen out of his bag on a trip out of the country, he immediately wanted another one. I doubt I would take it traveling so I gave it 3 stars for that; I would use my charger that collapses very thinly for traveling. All in all it’s a good three in one charger. Bought one for myself and one for my wife for our iPhone 12s apple watches and AirPods. The watches and AirPods charge just fine and they all charge well at the same time. The phones however are a little spotty on charging. The LED light in the base turns to blue if it is actually charging. Sometimes the phone will say it is charging just long enough for you to think it is, but then it stops when you look away. If you have the base light on, make sure it doesn’t stay green otherwise it isn’t charging—it needs to turn to blue. It’s really easy to turn the light off and on if you don’t want it on while you sleep. Sometimes the phone starts charging if you take it off and put it back on. Sometimes unlocking works. But the fastest way to get it to charge is to restart the phone. A little annoying but really not too bad, and it isn’t every night. The magnet is strong and our phones have never fallen off, but isn’t so strong that you can’t get your phone off easily when you need to. We have three of these, but one just fell apart after two years' use. We will likely order another. We have three of these and use them to charge two newer iPhones, one older iPhone, and two Apple Watches. Zero issues charging the Apple Watches. Work very well. Charging the older iPhone, zero issues. Again, works very well. Charging the newer iPhones is a bit strange, but we think it's more to do with the phones than the charger. When we put the phones on the charger at the end of the day, the light will turn green. That is NOT a good sign, as it means "charged" not "charging." It wil briefly show the charging symbol on the phone, but it will go away in about 15 seconds. Instead, we have to power down the newer iPhones every night, turn the iPhones back on, and then charge them. The light will turn blue, which means "charging." Not sure why we've had to do this, but I'd say it happens 90% of the time. 100% of the time the reboot solves our "green, not charging" issue. Many of the other users comments about "drains my battery" and "doesn't charge" would probably be solved with a reboot of the phone. Again, 100% of the time the reboot solves our "green, not charging" issue. We suspect it's something with the iPhones, because it doesn't impact the 4yo phone, just the two newer ones. ... show more
